LuCane we had prediction but score was way off. Lol.
Bimbo still didnt open the playbook for him but he makes some of if not the best adjustments in the game.
He spots a weakness quick.
Charles kelly is still in over his head, imo. Richt should eat all day.
Yall calling Francois "real" and all need to chill. Running around like a chicken with your head cutoff because you lost your progression only makes you the 2nd coming of e.j. manuel
Francois isn't Winston, but this is similar to what everyone on here said about Winston after the Pitt game. The DBs just stood there, let's see what happens when a decent team gets in his face, not that impressive. I'm not ready to crown the kid but he looked great in his first start and got better as the game went.
No sir. Not even close to the same because PITT aint Ole Miss.
The difference is the type of playcalls and how much Bimbo trusts his QB.
It was different with Winston because it was clear he was operating in an open offense and going thru progressions with great anticipation, timing, and accuracy on his throws.
Winston ran when necessary. not because he doesn't remember his next read. Jimbo never had to call bootleg throw-back passes to create offense for Winston.
I can see how someone can make your assessment from face value but when you understand X's and O's it's quite clear Francois was being carried by great athletes and excellent coaching in last nights game.
Like I said, he isn't Winston, Winston was special. Still the kid played lights out in his first start and I compare the two because as Canes it's difficult for us to give credit to a rival player. I compared the two because Winstom went for 300+ and had only two incompletions and people still weren't impressed. Now Farncois threw for 400 and people are still playing it off like its nothing. Reality is that FSU has a competent QB something that was questioned going into the season. You couple that with t depth and talent they have and they will be difficult to beat. I think we can do it but Francois being competent and mobile to add, will make it tough to beat by anybody. Their OL seemed to struggle though. Hard to tell if it was all them or if Ole Miss has the horses up front.
Its not difficult for me to give anyone credit but i get your point.
My critique is coming from the playcalls which in turn show how cerebral/trustworthy the qb is.
When you have to pull out trick plays for your qb. he isn't that competent. Pulling the ball down because you lost your progression isn't competence.
He is a talented athlete lucky enough to be surrounded by stud athletes and a stud coach. I think you give him a little too much credit.
He should have been picked off many times last night.
