Doubt we seen any of the national outlets say they should "Shut the program down" like they did with us

Think about it though, Ole Miss really is the perfect school to fall on the sword and cleanse the bagman image of the SEC

- No substantial program history
- Yet high enough profile due to recent success
- Not Alabama
- Not Auburn
- Not Georgia
- Not LSU
- Not Florida

The NCAA can hit a school that relatively few people care about in the grand scheme of that conference, and they have their "proof" that the revenue generation of those programs and Emmert's connection to the conference aren't being swept under the rug, and seemingly endless suspicious pictures and rumors are not being chased are not actually being ignored.


Nothing will happen.

I'd say all 30 or 28 of the 30 happened under the football staff's watch. They want to be able to swing it as if it wasn't only the football team, they had little to do with it, to justify only 2 scholarships taken or whatever. Power of the $EC. Emphasis on the "$"
