Huge game for Justin Fuente. This is his audition for the big time. If he wins today his stock will skyrocket. A win over Ole Miss >>> wins over AAC punching bags.

Yeah, I know we lost to an AAC team, but we're pretty much a punching bag too.

That Memphis defense looks like a passive scheme. He has to spice that up some.

Imo that's the thing that stuck out to me s bit. Ole Miss might gobble that upn pretty quick

Paying devil's advocate, Memphis had to replace 8 starters and a DC that left for Missouri. Their D played well last year.
 
I only watched a couple of tiger games.

Ole miss jumped on em early like i thought. But Memphis got heart. Defense is opportunistic.

You play that style when you are out maned. Try to keep the game close. However, when the talent is equal you get after it.

Maybe Ole Miss (and UiF by association) was never actually that good to begin with? Nahhhhh, they're in the SEC!!!!!!
