Best I can say is this:
Would you leave a job that you like and are trying to build something and finally have the support of those around you…for a job that yes pays more, but you have no support from President, the people with “power/money” have conflicting visions of what they want for program, the money can’t promise support you need, expect or want to make things happen, you have people involved who don’t care about football or sports and only care about Medical/Law School and tue President is t even involved in the process of hiring maybe the 2nd or 3rd most powerful person on campus. The structure and setup is one to fail. Trust wasn’t there. So walking was best option for him. Maybe not others but for him it was best option

If Epstein and his posse are leaking sh*t, they need to go. I don’t understand what that process looks like but you can’t keep a senior board member who actively sabotaged the program/school. Is this gonna happen every time he doesn’t get his way? End this sh*t at the root.

Sounds like Nunez was pushed by non-decision makers with money that he knows and was given the impression by them that they actually had some say. When it actually got to action time he found out that all they were was talk and they overstated what they could actually get done. If Nunez wasn't dug up by the firm Frenk is leaning on he really had no chance. He found that out despite his buddies saying otherwise throughout the process.
