Completely untrue. Looks like the ones who supported those heading out the door, already out of the door, or see the writing in the wall are starting again. Love how people look at numbers without considering the capacity in which the members of the board serve. Brett McMurphy is clueless buffoon like so many others in our media today.

Couple that with people in the program actively trying to destroy it from within by leaking false narratives like David Epstein, and it looks like a three ring circus, perception wise. That's why I say, the longer this goes on, the worse it looks. They need to pull the trigger in the next 24 hours on the AD, terminate Manny on Saturday, and all hands on deck for Mario on Sunday with your new AD on the job. Listen to Riley and Kelly talk at their press conferences, the one word they use consistently is ALIGNMENT. Prez, AD, and the head coach. The trifecta. Miami is not close to that at the moment. They and turnkey need to make a decision now!

You can't compare the time they are taking to hire an AD to the time other schools took to hire coaches. You really think the time it took to get Lincoln signed happened in just one evening? That was in the works for weeks. Now, I grant you that Miami should have been better prepared and on the AD search, I agree. But we all know who HC Option 1 is and we've known when we can talk to him. That it's taken this long isn't a reflection of poor planning, it's been part of the plan to talk to MC when his regular season was over. That's this Saturday. Always part of the plan.
 
At this point it doesn’t matter whether it’s actually a sht show or not. Like others have said perception is reality. The damage is done

On the flip side I think any coach that was seriously considering coming here won’t be scared away by this , IF we come at them correctly ( solid plan for the future and $$$ )
So honestly Miami shouldn’t give a **** what’s being said right now as long as they do what tf they need to do . At the end of the day none of these guys know exactly what’s going on, what’s been agreed to and what hasn’t , except the decision makers

I know people here don’t give credence to the national reporters, but they have a wider scope and understanding of college football as a whole. They may not know the minutiae of Miami football, but they can see an AD search and see “oh wow that’s not how an AD search is supposed to go”. There’s multiple national reporters saying this.

I KNOW this is an absolute **** show and I’m some dude in his mothers basement, and I’m loving every minute of this lmao.

LOL I don't know. I'm just ******* ****ed. If he's willing to go to these lengths to sabatoge the President of the University from doing his job, what else is he going to do? He cannot remain in any capacity where he has influence over athletics. There has to be some mechanism for punishing BOT members for cause, and IMO this would qualify.

Or, if you run a professional organization, you shut out the noise and go about your business. This isn't politics where if don't push back on a smear campaign, you lose an election. The fans have no say in any of this. No one is canceling season tickets yet because UM hasn't announced the new AD or HC. Once the result is known, that's when all **** breaks loose (or we celebrate)

I think UM already knows the answer from Mario. If he accepted, hes not going to suddenly change his mind and decline because he is scared of the fake national narrative (and if it's Kiffin, he's dealt with bad media narratives his whole career so I don't think he gives a **** about the media badmouthing the school).

Yeah Roman mentioned this on Twitter as well. Regardless of what's actually going on behind closed doors, the public perception of how things are going is that this is an absolute trainwreck.

I'm not sure how Frenk stays quiet in all of this. Even if it's just the typical "We have a plan and we're following it, we're keeping it close to the vest, we're committed to hiring the best candidate possible" you have to kinda say something at this point.

This, why don’t people get it. The BOT does not have any part in the interview process from what I understand. I could be wrong. If it’s only Frenk, his advisors, and the search firm how can it be such a mess?
