Old news by Brett McMurphy

So Epstein is feeding this info to the media so that Manny stays. But at the same time paints our University as a **** show. I might be dumb but how does that make sense. Bash your own University just to keep a coach that lost to FIU???

I think it makes the university look like a sh*tshow. It then allows them to pick a lackey and puppet him to do what they want. If they want Manny to stay because it benefits them. His record doesn’t matter.

I really, really hope Mike is right.

Why doesn't Miami or Frenk deal with this and publicly condemn them? There is nothing good coming from this smear campaign, everyone is running with it.

Unless the plan is to deal with it internally, while simultaneously speeding up the process. It is Thursday already, Mario plays tomorrow...

I think McMurphy is a good journalist. He wouldn't print something if he didn't have multiple sources.

Might those sources be Epstein, Nunez, and someone else in their camp? Sure. Even probable. But there are definitely multiple sources.
mcmurphy is one of the worst journalists but hey they are all really the same. he is going full TOOBIN. mcmurphy tried to slur urban Meyer about covering up a rape and a bunch of other stuff . I promise you a bunch of alleged AD candidates are NOT talking to mcmurphy. dereliction of duty. complete fake news.

it's time we amend the federal legislation to sue these journalist and go full Sandmann on these news organizations and people.

Let me say this, I love my canes but I will agree that this has been poorly managed from a PR and organizational standpoint. I've said countless times, you had to have a plan PRIOR to sacking Blake James. It also should have been done a lot sooner than after the FSU loss. Blake was always incompetent. The move appears reactive as opposed to proactive. Turnkey should have been hired or at least on standby the moment you pulled the trigger on James. I have also said that it hurts Miami from a perception standpoint when you see how decisively other schools conduct business in comparison. They act with conviction. Lincoln loses Saturday, contract done Sunday, in Los Angeles on Monday. LSU gets rejected by Lincoln on Sunday morning, Sunday night the deal with Brian Kelly is done, Kelly is in Baton Rouge Monday night. They're organized!!! They have plan and then a backup plan and then a backup plan to the backup plan. That's how business is done.

It just appears (maybe not reality) that Miami doesn't have their ish together. Couple that with people in the program actively trying to destroy it from within by leaking false narratives like David Epstein, and it looks like a three ring circus, perception wise. That's why I say, the longer this goes on, the worse it looks. They need to pull the trigger in the next 24 hours on the AD, terminate Manny on Saturday, and all hands on deck for Mario on Sunday with your new AD on the job. Listen to Riley and Kelly talk at their press conferences, the one word they use consistently is ALIGNMENT. Prez, AD, and the head coach. The trifecta. Miami is not close to that at the moment. They and turnkey need to make a decision now!

“Multiple Miami AD candidates told @ActionNetworkHQ UM’s search is a “mess.” With more than 50 board of trustees & several donors involved “everyone is in charge, no one is in charge. They don’t know what they want to do w/Manny (Diaz). Half want him gone, half want him to stay"
