Old Dominion vs V Tech

It will. Unless there is some major shocker in CFB, even if Miami wins ACC we are not getting in. Musical chairs and not enough seats. 2 SEC teams, Ohio St and Oklahoma. We got our *** kicked by average SEC team on national TV. You can call me a hater but the math doesn't work.

On second thought, Oklahoma looks unbeatable.

I thought we were the only ones playing group of 5 schools in their stadiums? Guess not. But at least we go in and handle business.

There is no way we don’t make the playoffs IF we win out and beat Clemson. No ******* way we don’t get in.

I'll ask you: Let's say Alabama and UGA go into sec championship game undefeated. Both are getting in unless the game is a massive blowout. Oklahoma and Ohio State both lose an in-conference game then win conference championship. Our SOS is garbagio and getting blown out when we were the only thing on TV was a terrible look. Who gets left out?

If Miami beats #2 or #3 Clemson, won’t matter.

I'm glad you said this because this is my thinking. I think it would be a better outcome instead of getting blown out by a playoff team. The competitive in me would rather be in the playoffs though.

That is not a gauruntee. If LSU loses to UGA and Bama. Then that would be 3 SEC teams that should be in it over us.

You may well be right but what this squad needs to focus on is the next game. One game at a time knowing that we are very capable of running the table in the regular season. Go into the ACCCG vs Clemson at 11-1 and who knows what could happen.

As each week goes by it becomes more apparent that the ACC is complete garbage. What also becomes clear is that there is no excuse and I mean no excuse not to beat every remaining team on our schedule. UNC is vulnerable. FSU is a carnival side show. VT who destroyed FSU in Tallahassee got a 50 spot dropped on them by Old Dominion at home and lost by 14 pts! Big bad BC got bent over the sink by previously winless Purdue! UVA is mediocre at best and we have Pitt at home in a game that our guys have circled. The bottom line is that we have a tremendous opportunity to win out and go 11-1 entering the conference title game. Playoffs would be a great achievement but even if we don't make it in a 12-2 record with a New Years 6 Bowl victory would be great momentum to take into the final stretch of recruiting before signing day 2019.

We dominate every game from here on, with Perry at qb, beat an undefeated Clemson team, we in. But the key is we have to dominate. Cost us a shot in 2000 when we let LT hang around.
