It will. Unless there is some major shocker in CFB, even if Miami wins ACC we are not getting in. Musical chairs and not enough seats. 2 SEC teams, Ohio St and Oklahoma. We got our *** kicked by average SEC team on national TV. You can call me a hater but the math doesn't work.

We'd get stomped if we got into the Playoffs.

We're not good enough on the Oline for a start.

Surprised people didn't learn their lesson from last year after the fool's gold undefeated run. We're much improved, but man it's a long way back to the top.

Here we go predicting the final four in September again.

Remember last year when people said even if we run the table we won't get higher than #7? This is college football. If we go 12-1 with an ACC title game win over Clemson, we are in the playoffs.

you say we got our *** kicked by an average sec team yet that team is ranked #6 right now and also beat auburn already.
Secondly if we came in at 5 in the rankings I'm going to be ******* happy if we win whatever bowl game were in. Its not CFP or bust yet bruh. We beat clemson, dont make the cfp and still win whatever big bowl game we're playing in, I call that a really successful season.

Lmao you are truly an idiot if you think that if we win out INCLUDING beating a Top 5 Clemson team that we wont get in the playoffs. Thats 12 straight wins with our only loss against a top 10 team. And even if by chance we dont thats our fault for getting bent over by LSU on national TV. VT and FSU sucking have little to do with it.

I'm glad you said this because this is my thinking. I think it would be a better outcome instead of getting blown out by a playoff team. The competitive in me would rather be in the playoffs though.

You'll notice over the coming weeks that our line looks better when we have a QB that can hit passes downfield.

I'm not saying it would be an unsuccessful season if we don't get into the playoffs. Winning the ACC would be monstrous for recruiting and with a stud at QB we'd be in the driver's seat for the playoffs in 2019. But like I said, I 1 loss champion from the other conferences (other than Pac 12) will edge us out for playoffs because the rest of the schedule is relatively weak. Still an acc championship would be huge, even if we don't make playoff.
