I could see a guy like McKinnie winning it for being dominant. Or maybe a Mercier type that went all out every snap for 4 years, and made the whole line around him better because of it. But this? I just don't understand how the best player on a really bad unit wins the award.

"everybody gets their shine on" approach which is very appealing to current culture. championship teams culture would ask for it not to be posted if they didn't reach the Playoff as in their view they failed that season
