Looking younger than ever on Ocean Drive today. He may have a future career in male modeling. Perhaps he's interviewing for the DC position later? I kid. Or do I?

Haha. Was thinking the exact same thing. Dude is killing it with the Just For Men. Good for him.

Regardless of your feelings on Butch, he deserved to get a call back to let him know Richt was getting the job.

As an ardent Butch supporter, I understand why the school didn't call him back. Butch is a member of the media now and would probably/should inform the outlet he works for about the information. That's his job now.

the richt stuff happened so fast i can understand why didn't. that said there are alot of hurt feelings with how he left miami the first time. that hasn't gone away. they only interviewed him according to barry jacksons sources to appease masses. and he was a worst case hire for them.

he was never gonna get job.

Who cares the reason why he wasn't hired? Those clowns thought Randy and Golden were going to be good hires. Butch was coming here to bring us back old school and stock pile 1st round talent. If those clowns make coaching decisions like this based on emotions or hurt feelings from 10 years ago, they shouldn't be decision makers. What could of, should of.

Anyway, at least Golden is gone and Richt seems to have his **** together with some motivation to kick some *** after being fired.

I agree that hurt feelings in this crap don't matter -- the idiots at the Miami or Butch. I wanted him above all, even Mark, but I still don't care about him having hurt feelings. That said, I can think of nobody better DC for Mark to get. Will not happen, but would love it.

Dude can't get a job anywhere and the BBB crew is still out in full force comparing him to Derek Zoolander. Hilarious.

What are you talking about? I preferred Richt and several others to Butch. It's stupid to denigrate him now though just because you didn't like how ardent his supporters were.

Is it? You're the one who exhumed him for this thread. The comparison to Zoolander on game day is spot on, dammit.

If Richt don't get er done, banners gonna fly for Butch to make Miami great again in 2017.

Fellow Fans,

It is likely Butch Davis would have been a great hire. It is also likely Mark Richt will be a great hire long term. So far short term he appears to be making the right moves.

He's [Richt] the HC. It's reality.

Could we spend a little more time intelligently evaluating a debating each position group?

Gene Chizik would be a better DC IMHO

He's only getting $700k at UNC

I disagree but he is a lot more likely to get the job than Butch. So he could well be the best one available. I don't pay much attention to non-Cane stuff. Does he run a 4-3 or 3-4?

Butch did go on with espn's gameday, from sobe. Made a good analysis of Mich.

Then blabbering/blubbering Corso came on. What an embarrassment! Got to think his days are limited. Butch being primed to take over, minus the buffoonery.

Good to see a classy and intelligent Butch showing the U's good side.
