JB is and will always be my favorite Cane Period! Now take a look at that picture, JB was a top NFL player for the Eagles, he is now in heaven, rooting for us, the other two legends are TOP NOTCH NFL executives, they are amongst the best executives in the league. That says it all! success in the field fear in the opponents yet smart leaders, workaholics, successful at everything they do. TRUE ROLE MODELS!!! True Canes!

With those Canes It wasn't just a matter of talking the talk....many players and teams have tried doing that

Those Canes walked the walk. They were talented, aggressive and what made it all worse ....they were relentless.

They kept coming and coming at you until you quit

Nothing like when I heard one of our fans shattered the Notre Dame bus window.. I knew that game was over with from the jump when Herbstreit said it...

“We kind of expected a loud atmosphere but nothing close to what it was,” Smythe said. “That was one of the loudest stadiums I’ve played in my five years.”
The “incredible” atmosphere, as Smythe called it, was fueled by the unbeaten Hurricanes pounding No. 3 Notre Dame 41-8 on a night that conjured memories of UM Saturday nights in the Orange Bowl.

It was a party for everybody but the Irish.
“We had people throwing stuff at the buses driving up,” Smythe said. “Actually our window was shattered and we had to get a new bus. It was pretty crazy stuff.”
Go figure, but Smythe insisted he still has good memories of his new home stadium.
“The atmosphere was great,” he said. “Obviously the outcome was terrible, but I did love playing in that stadium.”

I think this started on the WEZ and it went viral.. Miami fan writes world's dumbest message board post ahead of Notre Dame game - Golf Digest

Our guys love the thug rep but JJ’s classes had outstanding graduation rates. Those kids were smart and worked hard on and off field. I think his were above 60% while St Bobby was in teens.

Yup, high IQ football is a Canes trademark

Best part of that statement was smart leaders. Have swag, be confident, be relentless, talk ****, hit ****, but in the end above all be smart. Like i said on another thread idc if ur from the hood, the burbs, another country, another planet. Just be smart. Cant win with dumb as dog**** guys. I dnt think the Miami program gets enough credit for putting intelligent young men out into the world.

OP-Next time specify in the Title of the thread what you mean.

I came in here thinking Lincoln Riley left or something.
Or that their QBs all got injured.

It's an iconic image and it still gives me goose bumps. You've got the GOAT Jerome Brown mean muggin, Winston Moss looking ready to hack a dude into pieces with a machete and Alonzo Highsmith talking **** during the coin flip. I love it.

Remember the hype about BOZ? He looked liked a kindergartener in that game - the announcers were baffled at how dominant Miami was....
