In a significant move for the Miami Hurricanes, Oklahoma transfer cornerback Jaden Davis has committed to the team after visiting Coral Gables last week with his family. A product of St. Thomas Aquinas HS in Fort Lauderdale from the 2019 recruiting class, Davis brings valuable experience and skill to Miami's secondary, bolstering their roster for the upcoming season.
During his time at Oklahoma, the 5-foot-10, 183-pound cornerback played in 47 games, starting in 22 of them. He has amassed 103 career tackles, one interception, and 10 pass breakups. As a former St. Thomas Aquinas HS player, Davis is already familiar with South Florida's football scene, which should aid his transition to the Miami Hurricanes.
The Hurricanes were in need of some depth in their cornerback room after losing both starters, Tyrique Stevenson and DJ Ivey, to the NFL Draft.
