I said it in this draft and I do believe that he could be a Patrick Mahomies type of player.

He could...
But is Tennessee going to actually spend the money to build up some kind of squad around him?

Kansas City Chiefs expect to win (spend the money) And always have since even all stubborn Schottenheimer. Like the Broncos. ******** themms, eigk. (Charger fan).

I hope he only signs a three year deal.

Nashville is a town that’s been waiting to be a big sports town imo

It’s obviously already pretty popular and a big tourist spot because of the country music scene and the surrounding areas have built up around it

I remember the town going crazy when the Preds made a run and back when the Titans made the Super Bowl

They’ve got all the makings for this to be really successful

Yes, I have been there and it's actually a really cool town.

Just not sure if they are going to spend the money to have him be playoff caliber.

We know he is a gamer and he can throw and he'll make things happen.

But he also needs athletes around them on both sides of the ball.

I agree. It’s kind of what I was saying where they’ve had the makings but never really seemed to care

It’s a bit like when we go to Pittsburgh for a baseball game. The fans are amazing around there and the area is perfect, but the organization doesn’t give a ****

I don’t know that Tennessee is like that but we will see. It’s certainly much better than him going to the Browns

You know what I will say...As a Cane and a Dolphin.

I hope he does f****** great. I'm going to pull for him.

Their division stinks every year so at least they have that going for them.
But will they be competing for Titles? Probably not.

Yeah.. Tenn traded the 35th overall pick to Seattle for the 20th pick in the second round and the 18th pick in the third. Ok cool.

Seattle had two picks in the 2nd round, 18 and 20. Tenn ended up with 20 instead of 18.

Seattle took Arroyo 18.

Tenn took 2 defensive players with the picks they acquired.

I know they have holes all over the roster.. but it would've been nice if they would've kept #35 and gotten Cam some help. Or at least landed #18 instead of #20.

I’m just worried with a bad OL how his escapability works without throwing a bunch of INTs. He has some solid weapons though so he’s in an OK spot.

The Chiefs and Titans are actually very similar franchises. Stay with me ...

They are similar in that both owners inherited the franchises. And they are also similar in that they are both extremely cheap, penny pinching organizations.

Make no mistake, the Chiefs might be the luckiest organization this century in the NFL. First with Andy Reid getting fired and being available (and him choosing them bc he knew the Team president from Philly), and then them hitting the JACKPOT on Mahomes. Before that, they were cycling through coaches and players like a laundromat. Herm Edwards. Then Todd Haley. Then Romeo Crennell.

But make no mistake, without 15, the Chiefs are in that same tier of the Bengals, Browns, and Cardinals in terms of cheap *** ownership. The Titans are maybe just a slight hair above that group.

So, Cam basically is going to have to be on some Jayden Daniels type ish, or else the franchise will bail on him in 2 seasons. They won't spend or invest in weapons around him unless he wins about 8 games his first year starting full time.

Just a mid organization top to bottom (And I'm a fan back. McNair used to be my favorite player).

Cam had the mental makeup I want from a qb. He needs to learn when and when not to play hero ball but he makes guys around him better, guys want to play with him. Think of the wr’s who had career years with him at the helm and Arroyo at TE.

If they keep giving him weapons they’re going to be happy with the results.
