I think with all the weapons on offense that defenses are going to have to account for he's going to be open a lot.

The TE room in general was young and the veteran we got out the portal flopped. IMO that was the biggest reason for the drop off in TE production since Arroyo. The TE position is talented and I think Lofton will prove to be a big part of the production we will see from that group this season.

I’ve rewatched a lot of games from last season they do scheme plays specifically for him, so he’s a bit of wild card— he carried the ball as well down in goal line.
I’m not looking for major contributions here— he’s a nice complementary piece but as stated above— we really don’t need him as our wideouts are so many in number with numerous skill sets
