Oh really, UCF?

If Williams is such a great coach he wouldn’t have to worry about job security

and his current deal is only 2 seasons. he doesn't have 4-5 years. he has 2 seasons. hes a DC w 2 seasons to show his worth as a DC. he doesn't have to spend another second being a LB coach to possibly get a DC job. he got the DC job. he was never getting the DC job here

UCF writers are saying hes the play caller. either way, dude is making more money and got a title bump. good for him. we gotta move on. shouldn't have a 10000 page thread for a dude who was here a single pay period.

now who did end up losing a guy to a less than lateral move is the Kstate strength coach. hes leaving for UCF in the same role
Agreed, and I have absolutely no gripes with TWill moving on. He made what he thinks/thought was a good decision at the time, and thankfully Manny didn't agree to pay $600K plus to try to retain him. That would be utterly ridiculous.

Just don't like the 'Co' designation for TWill because I actually like the guy. But that's his issue now - not ours. Agree we need to put this one to bed.

Sounds like Gibbs will "mentor" TWill - wonder who will really call plays.....

Not that different from DVD being the CB coach and TRob being the "Secondary coach"
It is a little different(in my eyes) because we promoted DVD to be CBs Coach under TRob...as opposed to u-She-f hired TWill for a position that he most likely THOUGHT that he’d be Da Man—DC & finding out after he’s been hired that he will SHARE the DC duties....

the CO generally is used if you want to justify a dudes salary sometimes or even associate head coach, etc. I think it was the way UCF got the secondary coach a pay bump (now this is me speculating on his salary). its a fact that only two coaches made 600 or more as a LB coach. AU wasn't even paying t will that. we shouldn't either. were not bama and cant be spending 600k or more on a LB that hasn't coached here yet. hes also not sal sunseri who was the one getting paid 600 plus. id rather pay the reasonable salary for a good LB coach and spend the rest on a quality DC hire

but he really isnt sharing DC duties. what we did was similar. on the outside, it looks like t rob and dvd share CB duties when in reality its what you said and this was the way to get DVD on field and in recruiting. personally, I think T rob will be a DC again elsewhere maybe at the g5 level so imo its smart to get your guy in there to learn from him while hes here

he got a DC title and a 600k salary. only one LB coach made over 600 last year. Um didnt lost **** to anyone. they didnt want to match a ridiculous salary for a LB coach (nor should they). continue on with the bull**** you do since you live in misery
This is your new fake mantra, mongo? No one paid more than $600K for a LB coach? First, it's probably not true. 2nd, UCF just did, and they're a fcking G5 program with no TV money and no CFP money.

If your lawn guy says he's not going to do your lawn anymore unless you pay him 50% more because that's what the guy down the road offered him, do you pay it?

If so, you're not a cuck, you're a *******.
So you guys went from praising and hailing Manure The Almighty like he hired Belichick as LB coach when he hired TWillstobal to now considering him equal to a fungible grass cutter? LOL

I'll try to put this into a perspective that is more on your level. Let's say you just got hired to be an entry level fry cook at McDonalds two weeks ago. You sat down with the manager and agreed on a salary of $8 per hour. No other fry cooks anywhere make more thank 8.50 per hour, and these are some of the very best fry cooks around. Then you get an offer to be the "curly fries supervisor" at Arby's, making 8.75 per hour and tell your boss that you want a raise to at least 8.75 to remain as the entry level fry cook. Your manager wishes you good luck on the step up in responsibility, but he's not paying you more than what you both agreed was a fair salary for an entry level fry cook. The Arby's manager did not pull a fast one on the McDonald's manager. All the horsey sauce in the world isn't going to make that true.
Now the hero Manure hired an $8 per hour fry cook. This is two weeks after you **** gobblers were praising him like he hired a young Bud Ed Ryan as LB coach.

First, I do not hold Manny in high esteem and never have. Second, my lawn guy has done more for me that TWillstobal and I do hold him in high esteem.

I will say that he has made positive moves, but I want to see it translate to W's before I bless him with my praise.

Is Twillstobal a “positive move” that Manure made?

youre dumber than i thought. ive said there was 1 coach getting more than 600k at LB coach and that was bama. t will was 150k under that at AU. UCF hired him as a dc and their writers are saying hes the play caller so why not use facts before speaking. im glad i never met a dude like you while at UM.

You know exactly what every LB coach in college football is making, Gomer? Or did you just piggyback on the numbskull, TimeBum’s, dopey fake research?

Tell me how many position coaches in college football are making more than $600K because that’s what matters. There are strength coaches making way more than that.

the discussion is how much LB coaches get paid bc thats what T will was hired for at UM not any other position HERE.

. Sal Sunseri, Alabama — $650,000
2. Coleman Hutzler, Texas — $600,000
3. Bob Gregory, Washington — $550,000
3. Glenn Schumann, Georgia — $550,000
5. Tracy Claeys, Virginia Tech — $500,000
5. Antonio Pierce, Arizona State — $500,000
5. Tommy Thigpen, North Carolina — $500,000
5. Seth Wallace, Iowa — $500,000
5. Al Washington, Ohio State — $500,000
10. Travis Williams, Auburn — $450,000

a bit of research would help you out but youre a dumbass who just likes to *****.

now that this is done, ill put you on ignore so i never have to deal w you again

So only one makes over $600k. I really liked the TWill hire but wouldn’t pay close to that. Did his $450k include his co-DC title?
