The field side was WIDE OPEN for runs on several plays tonight, and King rolled in the opposite direction. I kept saying he must not be seeing the field, but I'm not sure it's that. The fact that he's holding the ball forever might also be playing into this.

Let's face it: we can't afford to lose him. What's behind him is dumpster fire material.

that part is annoying to me bc he could be running forever. if the OL doesnt get any push going forward (i doubt that'll change), gonna have to let king do what he does

Difference is the acc top team is our only team. You can be kind and throw unc in there also if you're feeling kind. Besides that the teams you mentioned would eat in the acc. Including Penn St. Its amusing how everyone quoted Phill steele and this reporter and that reporter when talking about our growth. A good chunk of those same reporters said the same thing about tom heard and indiana... Just sayin
 
Don't agree with everything OP said but that game was so bad he still gets an up vote from me.

That miss to Harley towards the end was horrific. He’s not a strong armed QB and our coaches aren’t helping with the repeated, failing inside runs and not letting him keep it.

Other than that if I see one more soft off zone I’m driving down to Miami Gardens, ripping the head set off Baker and threatening Diaz to start calling the D again. I’m so tired of that uninspired, lazy coverage. They’re literally too busy talking **** to get set! What is that?!?. While I’m on the topic of laziness, when is Diaz going to lose it on one of these refs with these holding call? Does the OL need to put us in a rear naked choke to get a call. Lose it! Show some ******* fire! Show that you care about your players being ****ed over and over again! Like what kind of football coach are you? You’re supposed to be a leader, not some flappy ***** sending in a strongly worded letter. Go watch Saban or Dabo react when they don’t get a call. Those ******* men are leaders. Not this lazy ***** **** I keep seeing every week. Manny doesn’t even take responsibility about his team’s own laziness. How do you let your team play like that and act all non Chalant about it?

We have 5 games left with him that we know of. We might be able to sneak by NCSU and GT with a pathetic effort because of their limits.

I guarantee we will get worked by WF, VT, and UNC if we repeat this nonsensical performance.

Respectfully disagree. The Big 12 is ******* terrible this year. I’m sure the Pac 12 will be garbage, too. We’re behind the B1G 10 and the SEC, but that’s it.

What have pedstate and meatchicken done to prove that they’d be any better than 3rd or 4th in the acc?

This year (and you could probably add one or two in normal years), there are 3 teams that have a shot and then there is everybody else.

Can't look past ncst, wf, and vt. ****, even gt might be another dogfight. Smelled like cmu game. Looks like we're at slightly better than the 17 mirage....for now. King goes down, we fuuuuuukt. Stll happy bronco didn't pull this one out.

Right now in that conference that would beat us (and yes going on a lot of historical results (and focusing on last year)) doesn't have to be the elite of the elite. We barely beat mediocre teams as it is.

-Ohio State
-Michigan
-Penn State
-Wisconsin would motor boat us

Even teams like:
-Minnesota (sorry better coached)
-Indiana was 8-5 last year
-Iowa (had the racism scandal this year) but were 10-3 last year and well-coached

we would really struggle to beat at best.

That's more than half the conference. Not just focusing on several perennial top 15 teams.
