Tennessee dunked their entire program into the Turnover Trashcan.

Miami: "Wow we really **** the bed this week."

Florida: "We whiffed on our #1 choice picking UCLA over us. That's rough."

Alabama: "We got beat ugly by Auburn."

Tennessee: "Hold my beer and my cousin."

So OSU was cool with Sciano's possible involvement with the PSU stuff right up until he decided to leave? That about right?

Also, if we hadn't lost to Pitt, I'm pretty sure I would have dropped dead from joy at how well things are going for us and how badly they're going for everybody else.

What decent coach in his right mind will take his family there to that insane asylum, TN football. It's to funny. They may owe Shiano $20M buyout now without stepping on campus.

A few thoughts:
- **** him
- **** Tennessee ....I hope they have to pay him a ton along with Jones and their eventual coach
- stop acting like we wouldn’t have tried the same **** last year if we were lined up to get a dud

This is a horrendous situation for Tennessee. Who would want that job now?

with their funding, size, everything and all that

any decent coach can go in there and do way better than the sh*t show they've suffered through lately

not saying they'd be even close to where we will be, but they've basically had their own shannon/golden years

justin fuente would probably kill it there

they should go after Washington coach

Maybe if he was with the team Friday night in Iowa instead of traveling around to his twin's football game. Saw him and his wife in a McDonald's in southeast Ohio that Friday night.

Mullen may find himself out on an island, especially if the Texas A&M rumors about Jimbo turn out to be true.

He’s a West Coastal guy. Pacific Northwest, specifically. Besides, why leave Washington for Knoxville.

A guy like Frost, with a prolific offense, would be the best hire. He turned down Florida, so he sure isn’t going to Tennessee. Maybe the guy who replaced Fuente at Memphis? Last I looked they were running up points galore. The SEC is a different league but the Vols need some excitement, not a retread ‘familiar with the conference’. F-that. No to Lane Kiffin, although the hire would admittedly be interesting. Especially if he brought Kendall Briles as OC.

No matter how you feel about Schiano, the Tennessee fans slandered the guy. I doubt they get a top coach to go there.

Um...yeah. They weren't getting a top notch coach to go there even before this. They were getting Schiano.

I don't see why would Mullen would want to move from MissState to Tennessee.
It would be going from one program that hasn't done much in the SEC to one that really hasn't
done much save 2-3 seasons but with greater expectations.

I don't think Schiano is the answer at UT, but may be somewhat of a pain-in-the-neck for us
every season for 1-2 players in the recruiting cycle because he would be hitting soFla hard.
He would probably hire Beanerdict Cristobal too.

For those who seem to think x amount of schools would be much better opportunities for coaching candidates…below you will read where Tennessee has been a national powerhouse (other than recent years) and with the right coach will once again be a powerhouse.

They have won 13 SEC conference championships and six national titles in their history. They have competed in every major bowl; Orange, Sugar, Rose and Cotton.

The Vols play at Neyland Stadium, where Tennessee has an all-time winning record of 464 games, the highest home-field total in college football history for any school in the nation at its current home venue. Additionally, its 102,455 seat capacity makes Neyland the nation's fifth largest stadium.

I mean, there's no confirmation that Schiano actually covered the rape stuff up right? I think it's pretty sick that Tennessee fans say this is about morals, when it seems like they (and the politicians who spoke out about this on twitter), used the Penn State stuff as an excuse to nix the deal because they didn't like him as a coach

.

Yeah, why would Petersen want to go to Tennessee? Didn't he already have Washington in the playoff last season? Makes no sense.
