It would suck to have a top 8 pick go in the NFL and represent your school... good point. Give someone with Josh Allen traits Miami skill position players, a top 5 defense statistically, and watch him win the ACC.

All these dudes would have given up on Chad Thomas and all the guys who sucked under Doritos too. They cry all year about how incompetent Rick was then write off the players that Rick butchered to death.

Also, I watched the highlights from one game, and this dude attempted, and hit, more passes over the middle than Rosier ever attempted in all his games. There was no part of the field he didn't try to throw to. Rosier, and Perry to a lesser extent, looked like parts of the field were completely off limits. A D simply can not have their job made that easy.

Watch Rosier’s Highlights from his junior year. He looks like Steve Young in his highlights. Highlights tend to leave out the lowlights.

Just saying, Rosier looked like half the field was off limits. You'd have to pull ALL of Rosier's highlights to see as many passes over the middle as I saw in the Buffalo/Temple game alone.

I get what you're saying, however I wasn't just watching highlights, but every play. My mistake in saying "highlights" in regards to the Buffalo/Temple game.
 
I don't get why anyone wouldn't want more competition in the QB room. It's not like he'd be guaranteed the starting spot. It's college, not the NFL . You don't need to justify a salary by starting a guy. If he's so terrible, he won't be the starter and he'll provide experienced depth. There is literally nothing to lose.

If you don’t give him a guarantee he ain’t coming. You guys are naive if you think a hyped grad transfer QB is going to leave a pretty good situation voluntarily to go somewhere to compete.

The staff is under no obligation to start anyone. You tell him he can compete for the job and show him the depth chart. If he doesn't believe he can beat out what we have, I don't want him anyway.

Your making my point. Rosier was 10-2 and lead us to the Acc title his junior year. That’s Jackson’s floor if he was our QB this year.
 
I don't understand what some of you don't get. The immaturity, selfishness, ill-preparation at QB really killed this team this year. All three of the remaining QBs on UM's roster were suspended at various points last year. That speaks volumes. You can't overcome those deficiencies at QB. UM must bring a grad-transfer in. We can't worry about these kids getting butthurt and transferring. These kids have to learn how to compete on and off the field. Bring in the competition.....

Obviously Richt slurpers are the ones who do not get if. Our players selfish? Show me the link proving this. . Selfish was Richt hiring his unqualified son to coach them. I'll prepared? What QB had a chance to be prepared with the most unqualified QB coach in the country.. We have no clue how good or bad any of our QB,a are because of our dumpster fire coaching staff.
