Officially Pursuing Grad Transfer Tyree Jackson

3,131 passing yards
28 TDs
12 INTs
7 Rush TDs

First full year as a starter.
Why wouldn’t we want this kid?
Malik Rosier numbers his first year as a starter were about the same
3120 passing yards
26 TDs
14 INTs
5 rush TDs
Remember we wanted Malik too hahahahaha.

Tyree Jackson completed 55% of his passes in the weak *** MAC. This the guy yall want. Smfh.

Lol all I can say is wow. Nah lets turn down bringing in a legit NFL prospect for some kids who have proven absolutely nothing or put up some horrifying numbers/makes multiple questionable off field decisions.(Kosi)

I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone on here.

Funny how we got all these Buffalo/MAC experts who watched him X amount of times but say things contrary to what the stats say.

He can't throw deep and only throws slants yet someone posted a graphic of him having the most deep ball passing yardage in the country.

Also, someone has him as high as a potential 3rd round pick but he's not qualified to be in our illustrious QB room? Stopppp.

And then he tanked, thanks to his ceiling and clueless Jorn.

U see how that went last season dosent always work out as easy as the words come out our mouths
Yep. If Jorn was coaching him up, expect the same result. Wake up, wait and see to find who’ll be coaching the QBs now. It’ll all make sense to you then.

With all do respect, you don't know ****. We have learned nothing about our young QBs because the situation was mismanaged. N'kosi showed promise from the FIU game thru the FSU game. He threw some dimes that nobody can deny. Passes that I haven't seen Jackson throw. He also made a bunch of mistakes on and off the field. Perry lacked the maturity that could have locked down the position. Richt should have never gone back to Rosier and we are yet to see what Jarren can do. So we don't know anything about our QBs. To write off a young QB after 1 partial season is just foolish. Players need time to develop. They have to go thru the growing pains. Would you have written off Payton Manning after his 1st NFL season with his record setting 28 interceptions? **** NO!!! Before you respond by saying N'kosi is no Payton Manning, realize that what your saying is the kid has no ability to improve. We don't know that yet.

Your banking on a guy with NFL arm talent, but makes as many mistakes as our young QBs against much weaker competition. Don't think a grad transfer QB is a panacea. Most don't work out. It winds up being musical chairs at the QB position. If anything he's just another body to compete.

Also, all the young QBs will improve each year. They will not stay the same so you can't just go off a small body of work and say "he's not the guy."

I’ve seen enough of Perry to know he’s not the answer at QB..yes he’s got a great arm but completing 30-40% of your passes Aint gonna cut it.I bet you a buck he doesn’t see the field next year.I said I have no idea about Williams none of us do.Perry was supposed to be the second coming and look what he has brought us a kid that can't stay out of trouble that has an erratic arm when he does play.

We need to get another QB in here now to back up Williams or start if it turns out Williams isn’t what he’s supposed to be either or gets hurt if he is.So unless your planning on ****ting one the transfer pool is about the only place to get one.You can’t go through the year with two unproven QB and 1 other QB that all hes proven is he can’t stay out of trouble or is mediocre at best when he does play.

I’m hoping Jarren is all he’s reported to be but even if he’s the second coming of Kyler Murray you still need someone to back him up and I’d rather have someone that at least has Some experience as opposed to what our options are gonna be now Cade who hasn’t taken a snap or Perry.

Oh and as far as your Peyton Manning comparison...Peyton was pretty good from jump street in college...comparing Perry’s first year in college to Manning’s first year in the pros in comparing apples to banana’s...

Tyree would be an added plus. Not a lot to debate...the QB thing MUST GET FIXED. As for Williams talk is cheap and so is the transfer temper tantrum. Time to just do it. Can't wait for spring practice.

Yes, and we won 10 games and the Coastal that season with that level of production.

The entire offensive staff that made Malik regress is gone. Every returning QB is either unknown or a walking suspension.

You take Tyree all day.

Has anyone ever asked why Richt would not give Jarren some experience and put him in even with the new transfer room.Surely he is better than the two guys he continually ran out there.
Or is he NOT better than them and was Richt hiding him from the fanbase not wanting to let them know he and Jon had failed on another evaluation?

Something didn’t make sense in all of this especially his not playing in the bowl game with absolutely nothing to lose.

You have any ideas.

JW was up and throwing with under 8 min left in the bowl game. He stood on the sidelines waiting but we never got the ball back. He should have gone in after Malik. Dont get why Kosi played at all

Always though CMR held him out for a couple of reasons: First the whole seniority thing and losing either of Kosi or Cade if Williams showed out. And then as a point to Williams to grow up and get himself together. It’s been said JW was frustrated and slacked off and did some stupid stuff that got him suspended. I think CMR was just not going to reward that behavior. He went down with Malik who toed the line. I will never understand why he protected Perry- even at the end when he didn’t “suspend” him publicly or kick him off the team. I think he knew he may not be there and he left Perry’s record to be dealt with by the next guy. Gave Perry a shot for the future

A grad transfer is not coming to back up anyone. You are living in dreamland. Your boy Jackson is a 55% passer playing in the MAC. Can't understand why you think he's some savior. Like I said, I'm not giving up on anyone with 3+ years of eligibility. Fans are complete idiots when it comes to that. See a guy play for a few games and then you're ready to write off his future as though you and others are some expert prognosticators.

We have the players. We just need better plays and better coaching. WRs not dropping a ton of passes might help as well ya think?

Absolute no brainer take. Worst thing that happens is he’s our backup...and with our **** OL we need a good backup plan.

This kid is special. You can’t teach that size, arm strength, and mobility. Must get
