Just to clarify...I think Golden and staff have only missed badly twice in Cooper and Skai...
Besides that they're hitting above average on evals to me personally
PSA Every coach misses...FSU Leonard Williams, ALA Jamaies Winston, TEX Johnny Football, and it goes on forever...They all human! lol

We took this commitment early, along with Waters. Then both went up and started looking at Louisville and the collective thought was: Waters is slow and Burgess is a midget, good riddance.

What great fans we have. Burgess did not have his offer pulled. He was committed and rumors started that he might not have grades. As always, when grades become a concern, Louisville, Marshall and West Virginia begin to come into play. Despite being a legacy he decommitted on his own and went to the land of Clint Hurtt an honey. And no to the poster who says we dropped him for Blue. Blue was picked up I believe on signing day having been committed to Virginia Tech. And the general consensus that day was that we stole him from VT and if he was good enough for them then he was good enough for us. There are things that haven't gone as well as expected, but don't just make stupid **** up.
 
Is anyone watching the clinic that Watkins is performing at the OB?

He is making a statement as the best player around!
 
also jayron kearse was one time UM commit

teddy bridgewater throwing to watkins and cooper was a legit possibility here

Clemson made sure no other school had a shot at him.He visited Clemson 6-7 times unofficially on his own dime prior and during his SR season and never even officially visited any of the Florida schools.I still don't understand how Cook got away from Clemson,usually once they lock on a kid early they get him.
