**Official Thread for The Recruits That Got Away**

It would have been nice to have James Burgess and Skai Moore covering wide receivers on this year's defense.

wouldn't happen...they are 2 "with it" to fit the choir boy profile that the 4 foot 2 garden gnome wants at the Harvard of the South.

How fun it's been watching guys like Burgess Jr. and Moore have big-time games over the past week, only to be reminded the staff didn't make them a priority.

They recruit LBs the way Randy used to recruit CBs. Instead of getting the best players and adjusting their schemes and tweaking , they create size requirements and ignore talent that doesn't fit in that box. Butch NEVER did that.
 
my best friends cousin.....gave um coaches his number so he can get recruited...Family is cane fans and would of love for him to stay down here....we didnt make a priority...he made a good choice...he will explode in the next coming years as my friend went to college at like 195 and was a 215-220 pd wr as a soph/jr and they have the same body type.
 
Skai isn't UM material. He peaked out already with freshmans All-SEC accolades while Al is waiting to unleash a beast on college football next season--Jawand Blue. Blue is like Frankenstein. Al's inserting the final bolts in his neck next week, and he's going to wreak havoc on the ACC next year.

Watch out for Thurston The Millionaire to take home Honorable Mention All-Shipwrecked Castaway honors in 2014.

It does bare mentioning that none of the big 3 offered Skai Moore. I have to wonder if there was some inside info that the big 3 coaches knew that the rest of the market did not. And how that info turned out to be incorrect or didnt play out.....yet.

I wanted Skai as well, but this is revisionist history. we had limited scholarships, and for whatever reason they thought Matt Thomas was coming. No one on here was saying Skai was a better prospect than MT.

Why the **** would we start a thread like that? I mean, I know that there's a bunch of self-loathing these days, but Christ you need to lighten the **** up.

What the **** are you like at parties? You must be like, "hey, I have an idea, lets kick each other in the nuts and see who needs medical attention first!"

Which is why it's freaking dumb to run a 3-4. We should run schemes that fit the type of players we can readily recruit.

Coach Richardson supposedly called him "Ghetto" on his official visit! I would have decommited too.
