**Official Thread for The Recruits That Got Away**

Bama guy told me today that Cooper has apparently become a prick this year, doesn't work hard and is now in the doghouse.

I don't think we really recruited him, but Eddie Jackson is doing well at Bama.

Yea we came on real late with Eddie, like a week before signing day. The popular story was absolutely no grades, but Bama stayed with him and then he got qualified, they picked him up real easy. Think he tripped to LSU, Alabama and FSU

He is boys with Stacy Coley...I can't call it a miss because we didn't go balls to the wall for him, but definetely sucks.

This is the list that hurts:

Keith Bryant
Rashard Robinson
Matthew Thomas
Denver Kirkland
Amari Cooper
Avery Young
Alex Collins

Hate on them all you want, but there's a lot of talent/potential talent in that list...all from the tri-counties too.

I'm going to get negged, but ****ing 2013 tri-counties just did not turn out that awesome for us last year. We got good dudes like Coley & Burns, but a lot of talent left

i cant call kirkland a miss either considering both us and FSU took away his offer before NSD. id only consider guys that had an LOI to sign from us on NSD

^^^ Amari Cooper, Matthew Thomas, and Rashard Robinson are the only 3 i would've really wanted from that list....

the two o-lineman, i can careless about, Alex Collins is overrated, and Keith Bryant is a ******.

/ you can mentally fill in the word in place of the asterisks and i'm sure it'll work.

thats the thing about kirkland. why r ppl really missing him? we have an ELITE OL class coming in if all stays true. i dont think were missing kirkland at all and our OL wasnt a weakness to begin with for him to make or break anything on this years OL

Bridgewater, Watkins, Collins, and Amari Cooper are the ones that I really wish we had gotten. We had a very good shot at all these guys save perhaps Watkins.

Having said that Morris, Coley, Waters, and Duke make me smile all day every day 365 days a year.

AND MAKE NO MISTAKE we will do our best to let them know every time we see them.

once randy got fired we had no shot at teddy b. he decommitted right after randy was gone so the real question is would u rather have 3 more years of shannon but have teddy or status quo

One name that trumps all others on this list: Leonard Williams. Imagine the **** he would cause in this defense. Rotating with Pierre, sliding inside on third down....****.

Great call. He'd actually be an unusually perfect fit here.

Don't forget Jayron Kearse. He played a lot last week as a safety at Clemson. He's like 6'4 205. He looks like he's gonna be real good. True freshman.

Collins had a wide open route to the EZ courtesy of a nice block by Kirkland. Not bad for true freshmen, but still glad to avoid the drama.

Really wished we had Collins here right now

lol yeah he's been really putting in work against real teams.....

like i've been saying he's soft, you hit him in the mouth hard enough he folds.

He's a change of pace back in Arkansas, c'mon that should tell you he's overrated.

I don't mind Alex Collins, I'm sure he got a fat stack to go to Arkansas.

But I LOATHE the Bielema family and it brings me great joy to see that Arkansas will at best be a 4 win team.

Love that after Bielema's wife tweeted "#Karma" after Wisconsin lost that heartbreaker in ASU, that Arkansas has lost every game since.

Alex Collins rush for 29 yards, fumbled, forced by Chris Moody, recovered by SCaro in the endzone.

Just fumbled the ball off the pylon for a South Carolina touchback.
