That’s more of a Shannon slurping post. You’re basically arguing that Golden is okay, but that Shannon was okay too.

Anyway, there still are some Shannon supporters who sporadically defend him on here. Talk about 5-7-9, the lack of talent Coker left behind, the injuries that ruined a potential ACC title in 2010, and that Golden got (part of) a 5th year while Shannon didn’t. Some even insist Shannon was a position coach by choice, not because he had no other offers. I’m not going to comment on what race I think those people are.
