OK, now that the rumblings that this is official are spreading....What is a respectable time-frame for us to have a new head coach in place? Signing day is approximately 30 days away. Can we get this done in less than two weeks? Mods, don't move this. This needs to be discussed separate from the is he staying/going dump.

I'm not knocking Butch or anything, this is more of my lack of knowledge of UNC football.

With all the talent Butch got, why did he only have a .549 winning percentage and never got more than 8 wins?

I think it's amazing how quickly golden abandoned us. I'm sure he feels he upheld his end of the bargain but just the fact that he left for ped u is a slap in the face. The only thing is probably allows us to get better as a team faster.

He was running about 30 scholarships short.

Took him a few years to overcome that.

Cause it's UNC
He brought in the most talent they have ever and will have.
UNC will never win a ship in football.

Al is suppose to have a press conference on monday on the Miami campus and I doubt he would have a press conference to say he is leaving. If it was a done deal he would probably cancel the press conference and just sign already.

Soon my friend. This thing is wrapped up. I just want to know what everyone thinks is an appropriate timeframe to have a new chief in place. Is 10 days possible? We must save this class. This was our key to the future.
