Reynolds has said people at UM are worried. He didn't say he thought he would go. No speculation.

You're confusing panic for anticipation. Most want him gone. Some are a little over the top. I still think Penn State would be doing us a favor by taking him. Like Mizzou did when they hired Haith.

Since last night we were able to get some more information on Golden so here’s what we know this morning.

To reiterate what we said yesterday, from talking to sources, Penn State is a job Golden would jump at. He views it as a destination/dream job which certainly go over well with Penn State administrators and Lettermen following O’Brien’s departure. We were told Golden’s wife, Kelly, who is originally from Lock Haven, Pa. does like it down in Miami though.

this is bull****. I want a ******* coach with miami ties who wont leave us for a **** dream job. Ed Oregeron is the type of guy miami should hire. **** golden for even entertaining sorry *** penn state. Shalala need to quit holding all the **** money and go hire some elite coaches. Im sick of this ****

Remains to be seen. Agree there is no interest now. But we'll see in 2-3 years after some of these recruits start to, hopefully, bear fruit.

Also, I will take some exception that the NFL wants solely X and O guys. Guys like Harbaugh (both), Ryan, & Tomlin (to name a few) are not the biggest X & O guys. While far from suggesting Golden is NOW ready for the NFL, I don't see him being too far from emulating Butch Davis' days here either. And Butch was good enough for the NFL. Of course, just a few years earlier our fan base (and no doubt funded by a few on this board) was flying banners calling for his firing.

Yup oregeron is so elite he hasn't been able to get an hc job even after this year.

LMFAO, why would anyone want to let another year go by watching what would essentially be the same results. I liked Golden, I wanted him to succeed but the bowl game was it for me. It's not different than Coker and Shannon getting embarrassed in bowl games with a month to prepare. It's unacceptable and a clear sign of what he truly is. Clear definition of insanity to expect anything different at this point, especially with Golden's unwillingness to change.

Because Al's a better recruiter than both of those corches, and if we hire another coach next year we'll have a good enough talent base to win immediately. If that bum Shannon got four years, then I don't see why one more year of the Al Golden experiment would be such a disaster. If he succeeds the better for us, if he ***** up on D at least we'll have an actual team for the next coach to inherit.

He is a good recruiter, not a great recruiter and even if he was the best recruiter on the planet it still wouldn't overcome his terrible staff choices or his unwillingness to put business over friendship. No point in delaying the inevitable and finding good recruiters in college football isn't that hard, it's what happens after recruiting that Miami needs to stop ******* up on.

They better have a hand full of candidates already identified. This waiting for a firm to identify candidates and then taking 3 weeks to hire will get us so far down the pole of irrelevancy that we might go through 3 more coaches before we become relevant again. Golden Gone today, new coach hired by Monday.
 
I see it this way Golden is going to stay make more money but UM is going to say Dorito leaves next year if things don't turn around that's concession.

Let's hope our admin, is ahead of this and calling coaches to gauge interest. Hopefully have a list of coaches ready by the time goldens plane lands in PS. I don't think we have time for a service to come in like the last time.

The problem with the PSU job being open is that Golden is going to require job security for Dorito.
