Its not necessarily the class, I just think he looks unsure of himself or the program the longer this lingers on. If he is offered the job then make a decision. If he hasn't been offered but he is interested then do what all coaches do and just say you are not interested in the job until its offered. If its never offered and you make the "I'm not interested" statement then no one will be the wiser. Just get ahead of the situation.I agree, the longer this goes on the worse it will be. Golden needs to make a public statement or something, if nothing else to keep this class in tact.
Look I want to win as much as you do im not saying he can't get it done here but if he can't cut the fat in the process then we aren't winning **** anyway I love what he has done and would love to win with him but if he leaves I believe well find someone who wants this talent that we have put together
Butch
Schiano
Petrino
Strong
are sure fire hits that can be had if Golden bails.
If Golden bails I won't shed any tears.
we risk losing a great recruiting class if he leaves
We are not risking anything. Golden is risking everything he worked for and would be leaving on his own terms. Besides, if we lose a couple of recruits to get the right man that will get us back on the map so be it.
The university of Miami will be quite fine if Al Golden takes the PSU job. I believe Schiano could and would step right in nicely. Great timing in this regard.
I will say this: If Al Golden abandons this recruiting class, I will never again call a kid out for flip flopping, changing commitments, taking benefits, etc. If its okay for capital, its okay for labor.

The notion that Miami had a top 5 offense in 2013 defies logic. Shouldn't a "top 5" offense have a 3rd down conversion rate better than 35%? And how did that "top 5 offense" fare against ranked teams? IIRC, that site that he is linking to also ranked Whipple's offenses highly. We see where that got us.Yes, how dare I bring facts into the discussion. Keep telling yourself we had a top 5 offense this year. I'll stick with reality. He has to be trolling us.Are you ****ing serious? You're an idiot if you think he's a good OC.
no please seriously quote me more stats about total yardage and what happened in the "russell athletic bowl"
I wonder if PPG helps, as that is the most important stat. I think we were around 34 before the RAB.
