**Official Hire Urban Meyer Thread**

I hate the *******. Then he coaches at the team I hate the most, OSU after that BS flag was thrown costing us #6, that came when everyone was in the parking lot. It changed the course of our program.

I dislike his dour face grinch look, and his condescending attitude. He has one of the worst personalities in NCAA history. He coached a serial killer and makes even the people who used to use the term, Thug U blush.

But hire him! And wouldn't that be poetic justice if he brought us back to win a NC against OSU?

Did I say “he didn’t coach this year”..I’m saying there was the game vs Purdue and others when he looked like he was in pain and discomfort. Holding his head and bending over. He def looked drained. Much like he did at UF. His fam wanted him to step dwn from UF for health reason. Only reason he came back was his passion and it was OSU. Wtf would he step down from OSU to take the Miami job. Personally and professionally it makes zero sense for him

The stars could not have aligned any more perfectly.

Richt just left. We owe him no more money.
Urban is available.
It is destiny.

I would love for this to happen, but really! There are not enough rich Hurricane devotees with deep pockets (compared to the frat boys at places like UF, OSU and (INSERT NAME) State University to buy Urban. Urban will sit out a year or two, and when a program's alumni want to regain semi-pro status (like at Georgia, Michigan, LSU, Texas AM or Penn State) he will win the Mega Millions. Schools like UM, USC, Stanford, and even Notre Dame don't have that juice. Schools like UM have to find the hungry, genius coach who wants a chance to strut his stuff as a stepping stone to the NFL, a la Butch, JJ, and Dennis.

One of the great college coaches is available and you don't go after him?

Like I've said before, you either want to win or you don't. This is Blakes chance to prove he wants to win.

Do what you have to and bring this man to Miami.

He's.- not - coming - here.

Dude is done. Maybe he's back coaching in four or five years. First stop is asst. AD at taint.

It’s easy info and was well reported at the time..as long as u have the ability to read and comprehend then u should be able to graspe the info..it’s crazy to me how illogical some of u can be. Even Chris carter got on live air on his morning show the morning after the urban stepping down news broke and said He himself who is close to urban and family knew that this was Urbans last year because of Health and the stress it was causing. Watch the clip

But ofc you know more than the ppl who are close to the situation and reporting it.

This is like bulls fans wanting Jordan back..the man is retired. It’s not happening.

Now close this thread

Jordan retired, played baseball for a couple years, came back and won multiple championships and MVP’s.

Man, some of you young kids just don’t know.

This. He believes he’s better than Saban. That’s because he’s a savage competitor.

He wasn’t going to beat Alabama on a consistent basis at Ohio State. He brought that program to its absolute ceiling.

I’m talking about a Jordan/bulls fan wanting him out of retirement now, clearly . I remember when Jordan turned 50 a few years back and ppl was on twitter seriously debating that he could come back and average 20 at a age 50

Which internal organ of his is causing his ailments so I can donate? I'm ready to do what it takes.

Yep! Urban Meyer, after resigning from Ohio State, a perennial contender for the National Championship, is going to cruise on down to Miami to become the Canes head coach.

Never mind that most any SEC team would hire the man, USC would do so in a heartbeat, along with many other storied programs.

Yet, there's no question that Urban will become the Canes next head coach who's fanbase would soon after his first loss be calling him the worst coach ever and is an old man that has seen the game pass him by.

What I don't understand is why people are ignoring the elephant in the room...Nick Saban! He must be salivating to leave the Tide and become the Canes head man. Rumor has it that at the press conference following the upcoming National Championship game he will announce that he has accepted the Canes job.

Over the coming days keep reminding yourselves about all the coaches who desperately want to coach the Canes. They will be lined up for miles begging for the position...just wait and see...LOL!!!
