I can't root against the Canes, but, the fact is Pitt is playing for bowl eligibility so they are going to be motivated. On the flip side, if the Canes weren't motivated to play at UVA why would they be against Pitt?? Win for the coach? Isn't that what they said they were going to do for Shannon in the Sun Bowl?

That said, I have to believe that if we lose, Golden gets fired. For that reason alone I guess I have to (gulp) hope for a loss. I did it with Shannon and the USF game back then....so why not again?
Did Miami eat a year of Shannon's contract?

I can't stand golden. He's a disgrace but I can't root for miami to lose. I'd never disrespect the players like that. They work hard all dam week they want to win. A sorry *** coach like Golden will weed himself out. No need to root for the other team.
