Official Fire Manny Diaz AND Blake James Thread

Jake Blames could have set parameters for Rick when he was hired such as forbidding his son to be on the staff or insisting that Rick hire an OC. However that takes an AD with a strong and firm something that Jake Could never be. Blames needs to go and it needs to happen soon! Forget Manolo he isn’t going anywhere we are stuck again.

Exactly. That's actually how Richt wound up getting let go from Georgia. He didnt want to hire Pruitt but the AD hired him.

The administration is the overall problem. They don't give a sh't about the program. BoT members probably didn't even know a game was going on.

Firing Fake Blames accomplishes nothing.
Yeah, he is mediocre at what he does, but he is merely a symptom of what ails UM athletics.
 
We are 1/3 of the way into the season and we looked, at best, exactly the same as game 1 if not worse.

OL can't run block.
Every pass is out of play action, which defenses don't respect because we can't run.
Tackles are glorified turnstyles, letting edge rushers tee off on Williams.
We can't connect on deep passing plays.
Too many penalties that either kill drives, or extend them for the opponent.
Special teams are a disaster.

We aren't getting better.

Manny has been outcoached in every game other than Bethune Cookman. That's just a fact. Got outcoached today just had the better talent. Manny established very high expectations for the season. Any reasonable criticism of his team this season should not be killed on this site. People expected and elite team. The onfield product is far from elite.

Did you not see what we did to Bethune? That was more points than what Richt scored in total last year.

Shalala was the death of this program but I truly believe that a competent AD who actually cares about the program will be able to fix this.

Manny talked cash sh*t about Richt and the offense from last year. Has dropped little shots all off-season. Now he is the head guy. Learning it's not easy. In no way am I saying Richt didn't deserve criticism. Just saying you have to back it up. Gonna be honest. Richt makes changes on offense and stays we may have a better record. It was time to move on and glad he did retire but this hire is starting to look desperate and lazy.
