Well good for you, but nothing any of us say can touch the damage Al does to his own recruiting with his on the field performances. Simple facts are Al's recruiting classes, except 2012, all started to self destruct once the season begins. Al's mouth and the field do not match up. I have no problem telling Al to his face but I doubt he would knock anyone out. Howard might and JJ would but not shower boy. He would just blame fans talking bad to him as damaging his image with the team and the cause of all trouble. Can't you just watch his team and tell he is non-violent?

Good. I'm glad he got made an example of. We need to give Golden time. He deserves that since he stuck with us during the NCAA witch hunt.

You can give him Donna's pension for sticking with us but smuck can't coach and needs to go. The "cloud" was Al's friend. He has gone downhill ever since the ncaa finished with us. Nothing about the ncaa had crap to do with coaching. Al loses to teams with less talent on a regular and increasing basis. Maybe he is a smart dude but he cannot coach worth a crap.
 
Jedi is a gentleman and a scholar and I think he was on to something in this thread.

I find this thread unsavory and counter-productive. If I can change one guy's mind who visits this thread looking to be hurtful and negative, then I'll consider that a victory.

I think we've all seen the hackneyed homophobic slurs against Coach Golden using an acronym that starts with an "F" is followed by an "A" and ends with a "G".

Well, gents, I'm here to start a new movement to restore respect to Coach Golden's name. His name is Coach Al Golden. CAG for short. And to show that I'm not homophobic, I'm going to call myself, out of respect to Coach Golden, a CAGGOT. Be a CAGGOT like me!
