I'll never for the life of me understand this mindset. Maybe its a question of life's experiences. We get 12 or 13 of these a year, that's it. Why would I ever want something bad to happen during one of the 13 days a year where I get to watch my beloved Canes?

Al Golden is a cancer, and like any cancer it must be removed.



Ill gladly sacrifice 1 game than keeping this abortion of a staff for another 1-2 more years and prolonging the inevitable. Im looking long term, our season is already ****ed.

No offense...but I'll never for the life of me understand your mindset either.

We win this game and it takes whatever little heat there is on Golden...off..at least temporarily. I'll take it a step further and say this saturday's game has huge implications for the near and long term future of this program.

Sorry brother...but that's an old fashioned, simple minded mindset personified to it highest degree. A win this saturday does absolutely ******* nothing. I cannot even begin to reconcile how people still hold this mindset.

Nothing personal...but just understand that as "shocked" as you are that many root for losses....those of us on the other side of the argument are just as shocked that peeps with your mindset still exist. Yes we only get 12 or 13...but guess what...under the current set of circumstances #12 and #13 this year mean NOTHING other than possibly buying Golden some more time.

Although I did just kind of laugh when I saw UM come out in the dorito shell D last Saturday. I wasn't even ****ed that rooting for the Canes was futile that day.

I hear you man...we're in dark times. It sucks to be right back where we were in Shannon's last year.

I'll be rooting loudly for Pitt this weekend while decked out in Canes gear from head to toe. I'll never stop rooting for what's best for this program ever.

For all our sakes...let's hope this disaster of a regime comes to an end soon so we can get back to football talk on this board.

Like i said would anyone be interested in planning a march on the campus? I have emailed many times to get it set up they have to give the campus police time i would be a great thing to get these ******** that hide under the white cloth to finally do something

Dude come on...how long have you been following sports? That's what public figures do....they deflect, lie, stretch the truth, and use plays on words.

If we lose to Pitt this Saturday.....there will be **** storm surrounding this program that will make Hurricane Andrew from the '90's look like a thunderstorm. He won't survive if that comes to pass.

Let's go Pitt.

It's really sad that the only people supporting Golden are the only ones that matter. It's really sad..SMDH..

I've seen GM's hug a head coach in front of the camera saying this is the guy that's going to lead us to the promise land and shortly thereafter, fire the guy for irreconcilable difference of philosophies. James and the BOT was not happy that Golden tried to bail on Miami last off season and the way he did it. James didn't want to talk about the matter and he's gone out of his way to defend him. Usually when you go out of your way to defend something, you know something is wrong. I'll reserve complete judgment until next year. I still feel, Golden will bolt. The underlying statement that UNLESS HE GOES TO A DIFFERENT PROGRAM line spoke volumes to me. Why else would you say that, if he's completely your guy.
