After 11 years as a member of CanesTime.com, and 14 years visiting Grassy.com, I officially cancelled my yearly subscription today. I had one of those yearly subscriptions that would automatically renew at the middle of every August. Gotta say, it was weird.

I will. I used to wipe down BBQ grease spills in my patio with its pages.

What a cot**** travesty that they let that site implode. Anyway, all for the better. We started this thing and hopefully will be steady and comfortable for another decade+. The key will be experiencing some actual f'in Championships on this board.
 
Membership ran out in July. I agree it was weird not hitting up the Premium board and the Lounge daily.

But I've been all in with canesinsight since the exodus. I love this place and I can't thank y'all enough for all the time you guyzm (D$, Lu, Andrew, Pete & Co.) have put in to make this place the best Canes site on the internetz.
 
Its their loss, and before u know it, many more of the remaining vets will migrate over here. What you guys have done over here, in this short span of time, has been phenomenal. After thanking God for the daily wakeup, and reading my daily verses, checking this site is the first non-bathroom related thing I do in the morning.

Too many fake posters and Wiggers here, yet the Recruiting board is the saving grace of this otherwise moribund site.

The death of Canes Time sucks and there is no comparible substitute as of yet.

No canestimes was awful sorry I will be honest CS maybe about 2006-2008 had a magical run with great discussions and commentary.

This site is getting close but sorry too many "football know it all's" for me on canestimes. I played in college yet you don't here me trying to be an arm chair football guru like 90% of canestimes was.

I'm just hoping Danny lets me ride with a free LIFETIME subscription when this place starts taxing us soon
 
I can't speak to the premium because I ditched the premium stuff like 7 years ago, but the football and recruiting boards here are light years better than the free boards over there and I like the recruiting board here better than what I remember of the premium recruiting board on Grassy. I didn't hate Bakas, but he always played it super safe and was always really vague about info. I'll take Pete and co. over the so-called "premium" content elsewhere.

Besides, I really can't recall Bakas or anyone else dropping info on juniors and sophmores interested in Miami.


I will say that the WEZ is cool, but it hasn't reached what The Lounge was in it's heyday. The Lounge used to be awesome before it went down in flames.

I took the same plunge with my CaneSport subscription a couple of weeks ago, got tired of Ferman's BS and the boards over there are unbelievably bad
 
Really bizarre how something can be ingrained into your daily life for years and years and then just blow up like that.

I let mine run out this month with no intention of renewing a premium membership. Been a member since 2001. Peter is 10X better than Bakas.
 
I've been debating cancelling mine for months now. I swear I only keep mine afloat for January, when Bakas refuses to sleep.

Those f'ers got me with an automatic subscription just a few days ago. I thought it was tied to an expired credit card and was crushed at work, so I didn't call them and they signed me up for a full year and wouldnt refund me when I called them.
