Offensive Line

Hopefully Milo and St. Louis are ready to play because I don't know that any of these backups are ready.

Wells
Grimsley
Brown
Knighton
Jones
Odogwu

This is extremely disappointing recruiting

If Wells, Sonny, and Knighton(PuP still?) aren't ready by now, they will never play. Wells has been here a long time. Either he's going to play or he isn't.

I've been saying it since the rumors started about Gadbois. We are in trouble up front on O.

This is as weak an O line ( depth wise) as we have had in a long time. Nice roster management Gorlden.

Can someone clarify the "news" about Gadbois? Is he hurt, suspended due to academics, off the team, any combo of those? Is he definitely out for the fall next year? Thank you.

Did he beat up one of Golden's cotton candy defensive players at practice or laugh at NoD instructions to defense?

I am not sure why you guys are worried James Coley said Miami had the best Oline class in the country coming in, so I am sure the freshmen will step up

Weakest it's been in a long time, complete failure by Golden and staff

Cant blame him fully there...we got NUMBERS......

Just dont have quality guys imo.......

He prepared for Flowers leaving by signing a juco...it just looks like the guy is playing like....a....JUCO...

There's a fewq questionable takes in there..Guys like Sunny really really need to step up...Right now i seriously one TAKE A GRAD TRANSFER TACKLE AT THIS POINT WITH SPRING BEING OVER....I think we need nother VET tACKLE IN HERE BY SUMMER....Or One of the freshman will have to log mins at tackle this year imo..St .Louis who is a talent i expect to see challenge.

the guards spots we got some guys with P.T.

This year is shaping up to be a disaster on offense.

No RB that's half as good as Duke was at the same time in their careers. TE, basically replacing BK's safety blanket with a bunch of unproven but possibly talented guys. Our deep threat is gone, not sure it matters because the OL is struggling. Struggling against our defense, that says a lot.

BK is going to look like the lead in the Riverdance back there this season....that's my bet.

Even are numbers are a bit inflated though. We have a guy coming off a serious condition, a juco that is not ready to play, and two guys we took post-nsd because we missed on other targets.

If the OL isn't ready day 1. Then is just another Folden moment. Dude has been recruiting OL like crazy.

Kehoe is no green coach neither. Dudes been coaching OL for 30 years. That ****** should have guys ready instead of looking like weekend projects that never get completed. Being around as long as he has. He should be able to tell real early in recruiting. If a guy is a player our a project.

I'm not saying that all these dudes should be playing at AA status, but many of them **** sure should be serviceable by now. Golden has had some green guys coaching under him, but not right here.

I wouldn't be so worried if we had an innovative OC that could find ways to get the ball out of Kaaya's hands in a hurry.

But...

This probably sounds crazy but a starting unit of Gadbois-Isidora-Linder-Darling-KC...with Gall/Sonny/St Louis/Milo as solid backups doesn't sound like a failure. Problem is we cant have any injuries. I actually really like that starting 5. Jahir Jones needs to redshirt IMO. Just because hes a JUCO doesn't mean hes ready. **** even Bryant McKinnie redshirted.

I know Dmoney has said this a lot but passing on guys like Reginald Bain and A'lique Terry really is coming back to bite Al in the a$$.

A group of Isidora,Linder,Darling,Gall and KC ( if Gadbois is eligible he's in there for Gall) that group will be sufficient enough to where its not a liability for us. If you add St. Louis and Milo that give you 8 that you can work with during the season. Please don't let Golden use that as an excuse this year. I've seen a lot of teams who have been successful with less talent and depth than our OL.

Unless someone comes out of the blue at Guard, I am deeply concerned about that spot. Have been since the Denver Kirkland miss. Basically, Gall had to be a can't-miss prospect because it was clear that someone from that class was going to need to step in at Guard.

I'm still holding out hope for Darling - McDermott - Linder - Isidora - Gadbois

but nobody seems to know what the deal is with Gadbois

I told you the OL depth would be a huge issue! Outside of the starting 5 we get very D-1AA. We can't expect the incoming freshmen to be college ready physically or mentally enough to provide quality depth.

If anyone can do it, Milo and St Louis can. They are ready to be in the two deep. Now can they pull off what KC/Darling/Linder did last year? (play extended starters minutes) Not sure. Lets hope it doesn't come to that.

One thing is for sure, we might have to take an L this year with this group..but that OL is going to be lethal next year with all the talent and experience. All 5 potential starters will be back. Plus all the backups.
