Offensive Line Change?

If a change now makes the team better, you make the change. You don't put off making the team better to save face
How does it make the team better when you tried every combination possible and this was the best option? Then after just one game you're going to throw that out the window instead of giving it a chance to work? That's like running the spread offense first game and not getting the results you like and switching to a pro style offense the next game... good coaching doesn't work like that

I am of the opinion that it could happen.
I've asked my Old Testament prophecy guy to check into it....he's kind of slow, especially at his age, so I probably won't hear back for maybe a week. But he's almost always wright. I'll let you know what I find out.

1.) Zion did not give up the most pressures wk 1-Campbell did.

2.) Most of the sacks that Zion "gave up" were not all his fault.

3.) By and large he graded out much better than Campbell-that's a fact. Not only that..but he's a TRUE FRESHMEN, and his ceiling as well as his ability to improve from wk to wk, is much greater than Campbell. Take into account all of these factors, and its pretty easy to understand why Zion retained his starting LT position. Even a dummy could understand that

And Campbell is the one with the false start penalties, etc.

It's too early to know if Barry can coach/recruit, yet, given he inherited a frighteningly green line and some returning guys who have openly admitted all Searles did for coaching was scream rather than teach. It's stupid to suggest that a change in week 2 means they didn't know what they're doing in week 1 with so much green talent on the offensive line and a brand new quarterback. There will probably be high variability in performance for a while from a lot of these guys who are freshmen or who have barely even played.

If the UF level performance continues near the end of the year then sure, fire Barry because, regardless of how green they are, there is clearly enough talent to not allow 10 sacks (even though some were on Williams) or utter destruction of our offensive game plan against our opponents.

We'll know a lot more in November.

See Zion week 0, he gave up the most sacks and pressures. Ultimately just disrupted plays with his lack of blocking. Campbell did too but to a lesser extent imo , he had some terrible penalties though

Lol No Jarren gave up the most sacks then Campbell it was obvious
