Am I the only person worried about the offensive line and corner back depth...Outside of Tracy Howard what corner you trust to go man to man coverage with..Offensive line looks average now plus kehoe will have a lot of work recruiting this year..

just speaking of Cbs -- Artie is a stud. This year he'll prove to be an elite CB much like Tracy. Gunter is good too. Im not worried about the O-line. considering we signed Darling, KC last cycle etc..

Artie Burns has all the makings of a beast he just needs to learn the defense a bit better so his skillset can be shown. He's got the speed and size to make him elite. crawford and gunter are good corners they may not be all-pro but they will hold their own. I've only heard great things about Edler he just needs to add a few pounds of muscle and learn the defense a bit better like Artie but I have a feeling he will be a beast before all is said and down. I feel quite comfortable with the corners.

Not concerned about either of the positions the OC mentions. In fact, I think our DBs will be the best we've fielded as a unit in years.

98 percent of teams have good reason to be concerned about O-line depth. Those guys dont grow on trees. I think we have got to be in the top 15 percent at least of O-Lines in the nation, so I'm not too worried. Corner we have 4 guys with a lot of experience, plus a very promising Elder, Dortch and Hope who have been in the program a long time and should at least be servicable in spot duty.

Any answer to this question other than DT is the wrong answer. We don't have a single guy whose proven to be a good player there, let alone if we lose some of our top guys. If Wyche or Huertelou aren't ready to go, could be a long year.

We have zero depth at OT. Sunny is not close. McDermott has a ton of work to do and could never play LT. Who plays if Flowers goes down? That scares the **** out of me.

CB has some talent. OL should be good enough. Of course, it doesn't matter wh's at corner if they're lined up 8 yards off the LOS and bailing on 3rd and 5.

And the OL will be made better with a QB that can get rid of the ball and an elite RB. Our QB is a RS freshmans who hasn't played a meaningful down in over two years. We have a terrific RB who was overutilized and ended up breaking his foot. I'm encouraged by the depth there with Gus Tucker, and Yearby too. Should help Duke's durability and the OL out. We'll see on 4th and 1.

2015 CB Scholarship Players

Crawford (Sr)
Hope (Rd-Jr)
Dortch (Rd-Jr)
Burns (Jr)
Elder (Jr)
Mayes (So)

***My guess is that Howard is gone, so I didn't include him***

2015 OL Scholarship Players

Wells (Rd-Sr)
Isadora (Rd-Jr)
Gadbois (Rd-Jr)
Gall (Jr)
Odogwu (Rd-So)
Knighton (Rd-So) ***I think he will be a starter in 2015 if he comes back strong***
Darling (So)
McDermott (So)
Linder (Rd-Fr) ***Probably will redshirt in 2014***
J. Brown (Rd-Fr) ***Probably will redshirt in 2014***
Grimsley (Rd-Fr) ***Probably will redshirt in 2014***
L. Brown (Fr)
Feder (Fr.)
Mahoney (Fr.)

***My guess is Flowers is gone, so I didn't include him***

In terms of numbers, we have a lot at each position as it stands. My guess is we will take 1-2 CBs in the 2015 class. We could possibly take another OL but we already have 3 committed.

Ignoring the names (OL), the spacing is really good among the 14 players. Some of these kids will be called on for depth in 2015 but we still have 5-7 elder statesmen in the group.

T: Gadbois
T:
G: Gall/Isadora
G: Darling
C: Knighton

The question is who will be ready to start opposite Gadbois? Will McDermott be ready? Possibly we flex Alex Gall to tackle, he played it in HS.
