Offense identity

That is not the only problem. Sure Malik has his issues with accuracy at times. However, there are plenty of throws that Malik makes very well. Yeah, we often get away from those throws. In addition, there are many times when there is no one open. Simply because the route tree is ridiculous. 3rd and 5 and everybody is running a go route. Not using the middle of the field. No intermediate throws. Motion helps quarterbacks. One, it would help them determine whether a team is in zone or man coverage. You don't think that will help the quarterback.
You dont want a inaccurate qb throwing over the middle. Matt canda runs a heavy motion offense and it really helps his offenses light it up.

Stop making excuses. Mark Richt did not use the middle of the field when he had Brad Kaaya, who was 63% completion QB.

The routes are there. Honestly, Richt's play calling isn't as bad as advertised, not perfect, but he's no Patrick Nix. IT'S THE QB!

Its a lot more then just the QB. We rely on out talenting the other team, doesn't work against top competition. Luckily we don't play top competition that often but its ugly when we do.

This is true as well, but we have enough talent (outside of the QB) to at least make games competitive. No way we should've been blown out by Clemson like we were, or why LSU should've beat us by double digits.

OP your answer.

No one.

Richt said this after Toledo:

“We thought about putting N’Kosi in a little bit earlier in that game. But it just kept staying too tight for my gut. If I wasn’t such an old guy that’s been through just about everything, I might have put him in sooner. You just never know when a game can turn very rapidly, especially against a team that can score points like that. So, I held off.”

The guy has never won an NC for a reason.

Why didn't Perry start again Savannah State? Why didn't Perry throw any Crossing routes against Toledo? I'll wait.
Wait all you want. I’m not going to sit here and entertain your foolish premise that we never call plays over the middle when we obviously do.

Now you’re changing the subject to why Perry isn’t starting, which should be obvious as well. Rosier has 48 TDs in his 16 games as a starter. You don’t replace a guy who averages scoring 21 points per game for that large of a sample size unless you’re absolutely positive you can replace those points.

Richt's identity at UGA was ground n pound. We don't have that really. When Mark is forced to calls 35-40 passes a game it looks really inconsistent.
