I re-watched the LSU game for a third time last night. One thing I noticed, after that 50 yard run, we were shell-shocked. Like a bully that talks all this and gets punched in the mouth and then becomes passive and confused. Where was the leadership after that point? Even the coaches looked confused on offense.

Here's my point;

OC - Brown
OC - Dugans
Play caller - M. Richt
QB Coach - J. Richt
Who's accountable for the offense? Who throws the clip board, when we get punched in the mouth and demands greatness from the players? I didn't see anyone in the LSU game.

I was watching the TV broadcast, not the UM sidelines. So, if it did happen, I didn't see it. There's rumors of Richards getting in Rosier's face and holding him accountable. Same rumors say, that's the reason Richards has not played since the that blow out. Stefan can you clarify?

We don't have an Offensive Identity. Mark Richt has said over and over that what he does is based on what the defense shows him. Single high safety is a major monkey wrench in his pay calling. Again, Mark Richt has said this over and over again.

He has the creativity of a doorknob. You should stop hoping Richt will all of a sudden become creative and use all types of motion to get Guys open. That is not who he is.

Richt watches other teams. Don't you think he sees other offenses that run more creative plays? He just doesn't like that stuff.

I remember Perry saying Richt told him he was bringing back the fast break offense.

Personally, I don't know what Rick tells quarterbacks. However, there is a misconception. Mark richt did not create the fast-break offense. The fast-break offense was created by Brad Scott for Charlie Ward.

We have watched Mark richt call plays for 3 years. There is nothing fast-break about our offense. For Pete's sake, we don't even use motion. There was plenty of motion in the fast-break offense.

You preaching to the choir on the fast break. Said it waaaay back before Richt even called his first game here that he was not an architect and was a playcaller first, last and only (to his credit, a pretty good one back in the day. Maybe the best).

But it is interesting that he would tell Perry that when we were recruiting him and has so far run nothing to resemble it, which is strange bc I think even Malik might thrive in it.

I agree 100% regarding the fast break and that it would probably benefit Malik. Regarding Mark richt at one time being a great play-caller, I have to disagree. I don't think Mark richt was ever a great play-caller. I think he found himself in a good position after Brad Scott by running his offense. However, we all know Bobby Bowden often took the headphones to call the plays when he wasn't happy with Mark richt. Remember the 1999 championship game, Bobby called plays the entire second half. And that is when you saw Peter Warrick explode. Remember the 2000 championship game. Mark richt couldn't manage any points with a Heisman Trophy quarterback.
 
This is a fair question , but let the ball lickers run in here to say you’re smoking drugs or delusional to question the Lord.

Everyone was shaken , including the staff. It took them unti after the rape kit to get their feet back under them.

Why you keep talking about motion like its some magical shît? The problem isnt getting guys open. The problem is getting the open guys the ball.

Because it helps with running lanes and questionable ol play.

All the best offenses use this smoke in mirrors , it causes 22 eyes to take their eyes off the assignment for a second. It also forces everyone to play their assignment, rather than crashing down back side.

This is a wrinkle Richt should have been using awhile ago, but we’ve learned there’s not many tricks in his old bag.

That is not the only problem. Sure Malik has his issues with accuracy at times. However, there are plenty of throws that Malik makes very well. Yeah, we often get away from those throws. In addition, there are many times when there is no one open. Simply because the route tree is ridiculous. 3rd and 5 and everybody is running a go route. Not using the middle of the field. No intermediate throws. Motion helps quarterbacks. One, it would help them determine whether a team is in zone or man coverage. You don't think that will help the quarterback.

If an oc / Coach is worth his salt he makes these small adjustments. Which would help the qb and ol play.

We’ve only used it a few times and it’s worked everytime.

Teams are shocked when we do something a little creative.

Mark richt calls plays from formations like the opponent hasn't prepared, like they haven't seen that formation before. He calls that inside run like he is playing Tecmo Bowl 1990 and he has Bo Jackson, which was basically indefensible. LOL

The first play against LSU told the story. Inside run, 22 dive, inside power or whatever the **** he calls it into a stacked box. I knew we had not changed a thing

True... what the heck is up with coming out in pistol and then the running back resets next to Malik. I wonder if Mark richt says to himself, "yeah, that will get them. They'll never see this coming." Bull crap if you ask me. It reminds me of that scene from Harlem Nights, where ****nio Hall and his crew are firing machine guns and afterwards that one guy fires that single shot revolver. ****nio says to the guy, "what the **** are you doing? You're not achieving nothing with that"
