Gotta open your eyes and ears, the video and what he is saying is some powerful ****. I have a feeling a lot of it went way over your head. That **** is trash. MF should stick to acting.

You couldn’t have proven my point anymore than you just did....My eyes where open all I saw was some fufu *** ***** dancing around like a ***** with no shirt on. My ears where also open and it didn't go over my head. That is always how dudes try to defend wack rappers " it went over your head" nah. I get when someone says a Papoose, Fabolos, Jadakiss, Cassidy, etc. line goes over your head, but this MF isn't saying anything hot. He spells it out for you. If you don't understand what hes saying you must be retarded. The problem is his flow sucks and hes trying to rap like a wannabe Chuck D or KRS-one.

He was mocking other rappers the entire song.. Idk what you think you saw/heard but pretty clear to me that the message is all of these rappers are rapping about getting money, partying, etc, and completely avoiding the real issues of the world. His dancing is distracting you from what's happening in the background. People running from violence, committing suicide, and a whole lot more in the background of the video. That's the point. There's a lot more to the video as well. After he kills the people, the guns are neatly taken away, and the bodies are dragged/left there. There is a ton of symbolism in this.My eyes where open all I saw was some fufu *** ***** dancing around like a ***** with no shirt on. My ears where also open and it didn't go over my head. Why is it so hard to believe that he can be deep? He's been a writer his entire life. Written for TV shows and rapped for years.
This must be the first song of his you’ve heard
That's a good old school list. I'd add Bone Thugs 'N Harmony, Tuff Crew, Styles P, AZ, Cypress Hill, Run DMC, and the Beastie Boys to those. I rarely listen to rap less than 15 years old or so. I hear it, but it doesn't resonate. Only new stuff I might play here and there is $uicideboy$ and Ramirez and even then it's just a couple songs mainly because their beats are hot.Nah lol. I get the message he is trying to send out. I understand what he is saying. Its a good message. I agree with it I just don't like the song. For example the Watts Prophets have messages in their songs I agree with, but I am 100% not going to listen to it because I don't like how it sounds. I been listening to rap since I was a baby from Ice T, NWA, Schooly D, Kool G Rap, Geto Boys, eric B and Rakim, to Jay Z, Nas, Biggie, Pac, Wu Tang, big L, Mobb Deep, DMX, Snoop to Jada, Dipset, Big Pun, Cassidy, Fab, jeezy, gucci mane, uncle Murda to Lil Boosie, Kodak, Chief Keef, 21, Dave East, tee grizzley. I love rap and I actually listen to the lyrics. Very rarely will a line go over my head and if it does I usually pick up on it after a couple listens(usually only happens with the punch line kings like Jada, Fab, Cassidy, or Banks). I'm not one of those guys that will not listen to anything that came out recently. I listen to alot of the new rappers(but not much of the guys that get radio play). I just don't like his particular style or flow.
I think it probably is. I rarely listen to the radio since most of the songs they play are trash and if I do listen to the radio like Kay Slay or Funk Flex at night time and some soft **** like that pops on the radio I flip the channel or put on something from my phone. KRS and Public Enemy where able to make songs like that and they where actually good. I still to this day play KRS and Public Enemy, but you will never catch me playing Gambino. Its a terrible name too since he has no connections to the real gambinos. This song is 27 years old and still relates to current society and it actually bangs.
If I want to here soe real truth I would play some Watts Prophets but their flow is trash and I can't listen to their **** without falling asleep, but they actually are about that life which I can't say for Gambino.
He’s a jack of all trades, master of none.
Funniest SNL in a long time. This sketch was priceless.
