Tom Osborne or the OC from the Sooners in the 80’s who ran the wishbone
Happens when you run the clock down to 3 secs or less, every play
Art Briles
Mike McDaniels
Mike Leech (ya, I know, but still)
Briles would absolutely crush souls as an OC at Miami. But it would never happen due to them pinning that whole scandal on him at Baylor (despite him being completely cleared later on). Part of me thinks he took the brunt of it so his kid could keep working.
It doesn’t matter who the OC will be when the Meathead wants to run a certain style of offense. That is why Brady, Dorsey, Briles and other top OC’s have turned down the opportunity to come be the OC here. No coordinator worth his salt wants to be micro-managed, and specially not by a moron and his chia pet. It’s that time of year folks. Who we got on the short list. Un-realistic options only please
I’ll start.
Kliff Kingsbury
"Un-realistic options only."
UM would never hire him.
Mario couldn't process his offenses.
Let me ask y’all something.
Shannon Dawson had the #1 offense in the country last year. We can argue why he did or who is mainly responsible for it til we’re all blue in the face, but point is, facts are facts.
So in one year, when Mario and co. run him off as the scapegoat - who in their ******* right mind would take this job if they’re an OC worth a ****?
Mario will only hire guys he’s comfortable with regardless, but point still stands. We’ll be on OC #3 in five years, and we’d have run off a guy we were worried about getting an HC gig.
At some point, the scapegoats don’t work anymore.
Yup and no explosive plays. We rarely throw a deep fade and test the CB's.Happens when you run the clock down to 3 secs or less, every play
We should go after Garrett Riley with Clemson and give him head.
No, just no. He wasn't an innocent bystander, he bullied rape victims. F that guy, and F any "Fan" that thinks the way he behaved was appropriate. He didn't commit an NCAA violation(According to the NCAA, but they also gave Paterno his wins back, so there's that), but there's no way any rational person would want that kind of man around their program.Briles would absolutely crush souls as an OC at Miami. But it would never happen due to them pinning that whole scandal on him at Baylor (despite him being completely cleared later on). Part of me thinks he took the brunt of it so his kid could keep working.
This. Drives me crazy. ZERO rhythm to the offense.Happens when you run the clock down to 3 secs or less, every play
Then who’s on your shortlist? You don’t want that. I promise
