You clearly havent reviewed his work. Go do that and then speak about it
I have. We should not hire anyone for our ic that has not been an oc.

A lot of guys werent oc's before being hired as an oc. You do understand that right? Just like there are head coaches who have never been head coaches before too. That's how moving up the ladder works in case you didnt know

I'd have to disagree with your thought process and I'm telling you they will reach out to him. I dont care what you love, he will be one of the priority candidateshuge fan of Dorsey. He hasn’t been an oc before. This shouldn’t be his first oc job.
Because if you turn around one of the worst offenses in the country(which actually has talent) then you can parlay that to other opportunities. Someone will take a chance on that and bet on themselvesWhy would an up n coming offensive coordinator take a job working for manny? Manny is a career killer for this next hire, just as he was for enos. We’ll end up with someone less attractive or an older retread.
Totally agree! This talk about how no self-respecting coordinator would work for a lame duck coach is ridiculous. You take over the offense of a school with a big media brand and are able to improve them to an average O, you will get rewarded, should said lame duck coach be fired.Because if you turn around one of the worst offenses in the country(which actually has talent) then you can parlay that to other opportunities. No, Mike Shula was the offensive coordinator. Dorsey gets credit -- deserved, for sure -- for the work he did as QB coach with Newton. But he's never called plays and doesn't have the pedigree we need for our next OC.
Miami, as a program, is desperate for adults in the room. Guys who have done the job they're hired to do before at a certain level of success. Dorsey is not that.

People said the same thing about Clay Helton then he hired Graham Harrell and now he makes $1.5M after drastically improving USC's offense. Why would an up n coming offensive coordinator take a job working for manny? We need Airforce OC and Iowa OC
It’s the draw of the U. We are the U, not Manny’s team. Why would an up n coming offensive coordinator take a job working for manny? Manny is a career killer for this next hire, just as he was for enos. We’ll end up with someone less attractive or an older retread.

That’s a pretty UM-biased perspective. We’re a history channel brand at this point. Butch Davis, who half this board likes to mock, just rubbed his nuts in our face with a bunch of 2* recruits. LT shut us out. No OC candidate is going to think there’s a quick magical fix to a broken culture and horrendous OL and no QB. Ergo it’s a 1 year gig. Why would you even move your kids for that, if you ave any still at home? It’s the draw of the U. We are the U, not Manny’s team.
I’ve been clamoring for Yost but you can’t go wrong with any of those 3. Id prob error on the side of Rich Rod bc he has coached in about every conference but as mentioned all 3 would be big upgrades and bring a **** O to the U.
