Highlights Observations App St vs AtM

It’s probably bc one of them is one of only 5 active coaches who has won a nc, had multiple top 10 finished, mulptiple playoff appearances, recruits ata level never seen at that school vs a guy who was just a sucessful g5 coach
Jimbo has his flaws but just on resume and merit alone, of course one gets more benefit of the doubt than the other

This is most of it, yes. Absolutely.

I think there's at least a slight possibility that there's something to that melanin argument, too. Just a little. I hope that by now we, especially folks that have found common ground on our love of this team, can be able to see that there *are* multiple factors to almost everything.

Jimbo was given money to begin because he was proven. You don't think that his past success has anything to do with his recruiting success now, you're missing the big picture.

The boosters have more in common with Jimbo than they did with Kev. If you don't think that makes them a little more willing to put money behind his recruiting efforts, you're missing the point.

I could go on, but I think y'all get it... multiple factors.

Who cares if Jimbo stays or goes. I just want to see him fail and those oil bagmen lose reputation and money on their investments.
Where did I say that I gave a fluck wat happens to dude? I'm simply saying that buyout being so big might have something to do with not being fired.

The App State Qb made a couple of spectacular plays to extend drives. He had one late that was a back breaker.

Refs tried their damndest to give it to aTm too.

not a little a lot my friend you yourself just stated that the boosters have more in common with Jimbo Instead of KS . I wonder what? Pass success doesn't equate to sh@t' its what have you done for me lately in the same amount of time and game played KS is one game better. Jimbo was giving the money because he's a car salesman just like MD & KS wasn't.

Beating bama, top 5 recruiting classes, a national championship at his previous stop, didn't lose 70-7 like sumlin did to Arizona state recently... I'm here all week if you need more.
@JOE'CANE What stupid stuff are you talking about dude... Yall boys got sensitive about race, I didn't say one thing. I asked a question because I was legitimately curious if anyone knew why the program bought into dude so much beyond the obvious "oh he won a championship, blah blah blah". He went 9-1 in a COVID year that was weird as ****. There was no logical upward trajectory so how does it make sense to sign this guy to a longer contract.

I looked it up cause I was curious... Kevin Sumlin had an 11 win season in his first year... Got canned a few years later. Jimbo has not had more than 9 wins during his tenure, but got a contract extension. He beat Bama once, sure, but I think he signed that extension before that win. I had no idea the buyout was that much, just goes to show how much Kool-Aid they were sipping down there.

And tbh since yall wanna get so defensive about race... you're stupid if you dont think part of the reason they were sipping Kool-Aid is because he's part of the "good ol boys" club-a old white dude from the country those boosters can take a liking to

I didn't miss it at all.

If you are implying race has anything to do with Cuckbo vs Sumlin, I believe that is a misinformed take.

Lack of Ws is common theme between Cuckbo and Sumlin, with added bolt on for Fisher of soul crushing debt if they fire him now. If Jimbo's buh bye $$$ was "manageable", Aggie powerbrokers would have fired him at halftime on Saturday.

This era will be looked upon for several programs as "program destroying" foolish contracts. These coaches simply aren't worth the risk for Natty reward with all this guaranteed buyout money.

There is a reason NFL put in a wage schedule for draft picks, and I suspect you might see same thing develop for CFB staff circles.
Man I feel like that's long overdue. Especially among state schools. Find it hard to believe a coaching staff should make as much as the budget for a small city 😅

The school that makes you question racial bias
Is not texas am
It’s fsu
Why they think norvell is the savior
When he did worse than taggert before he got canned
If any school makes you question race it’s FSU

Observations of App St vs AtM:
- Turnovers sealed A&M's L
- A&M QB very mobile
- App St OL won game for O
-- Pounded the rock, controlled the clock
- App St immediate tackling won game on D
- App St wins 24-7 if not for A&M kickoff return and App St RB TD run OOB by 1/2 foot width

Expected game plan Miami vs AtM not hard to figure out...

"...we need to run harder...when the Canes run hard, we're hard to stop and it opens up everything for us..."
- Head Coach Super Mario Manuel Cristobigballs, Miami Hurricanes, 10 Sep 22

There is no mystery as, at least to start the game, how our Canes plan to come after AtM's D. Get the run game going downhill.

With that said, Miami's D must repeat the "immediate tackling" success of App St because Aggies aren't going to turn ball over like they did yesterday.

Ah! So the stadium ran out of ice during the game. Is that all it takes to defeat the 12th man?

Anyone know a guy in College Station with access to Kyle Field, pipecutters, and a solid alibi?

Same problem Jimbo had at FSU. He needs more money!!!

They need to come off the money! More money! More wins!

Arithmetic!
