Potential hot take, but I think they’re overrated. They’ve played just about the easiest schedule in the ACC, got bailed out against Wake, and played opponents that are a combined 24-24 on the year. Compared to Miami, UVA, and UL, whose opponents combined records are well above .500. Remind me a lot of 2017 Miami, in that they find ways to win, but don’t look impressive doing so a lot of the time.

All of that is true but don’t see them losing before maybe Georgia

I think Pitt may be the team to beat em. If their players get caught looking ahead to the Big game the following week. They will be sitting there, ripe for the picking, with a REALLY nice W-L Record, thinking that they are finally ready to beat the dawgs at home on 11/28.

I was watching the WF game live. WF intentionally tried to get them to jump offsides to get a first down. That would have ended game. GT falls for it and ref doesn’t make call. When watching it live I never thought that somehow an ACC ref was ******** us even when we are not playing.
it was a painfully obvious off sides at that....that they didnt call. it was downright bad they hose wake in that moment..and i knew wake would lose after that happened.

Yep. Best case scenario for us is they drop both those games and UGA.
Yea. I'm just hoping we run the table and do what we are supposed to do. The arrogance on offense needs to stop in all honesty. We've scored under 30 points in 4 of our 6 games. Hoping things adapt, and most of all, the penalties get cleaned.

Have a hard time seeing UVA and GT running the table in the conference. Not even going to attempt to look into scenarios and tie breakers in the event that 3+ of Miami, Louisville, Duke, GT, UVA, SMU, or Pitt have 1 loss.

Even if GT runs the table, I think Miami would be ok and make it based on record of conference opponents, as long as it’s not a 2 or 3 way 1 loss tie with UVA and/or Louisville.

GT would beat us again. Their coach is Mario’s daddy. Good gameday coaching and scheming to attack your opponents weaknesses matter. Those are two areas where we are sorely lacking.

Instead of trying to have to depend on another team crapping the bed in order for our Canes to reach their goals, we should be concerned about our own shortcomings and getting them corrected.
