Don’t want to get too mopey because a win is a win, but god****…our o-line is certified garbage. Seems like I’m watching the same results we’ve grown accustomed to in the last decade. I know guys are hurt, but that unit looks completely bewildered out there. I think VT had a singular sack in their last three games before Saturday.

Forget holding onto Francis and potentially adding Sampson for a second…we need to additionally hit the portal for some more college acclimated guys.

The laundry list for the portal is growing considerably by the week. I did like how Gattis got the ball out quick to help out the line, but when you can’t run block or pass protect…man is it painful to watch.

Denis ain’t it (amongst others as well, but man he struggled).

There is a reason Mario was trying to hit the portal so hard and now trying to recruit every **** o-line in the country. It needs a massive overhaul. Need Francis and them boys to stay committed and maybe bring in the top transfer veteran to get this thing right for next year.
 
I don't understand why Dennis is struggling this bad.He was a 4*,been out of high school 3 years now,was with Mario and Mirabal for 2 years at Oregon and pushing to be a starter before getting hurt.It's healthy here now but can't even snap the ball.

Yeah Clarke has quietly become our most reliable OL over the last two years. Every time something happens to him the effects are noticeable immediately

As soon as he got in the lineup he changed how we were playing

Was it another ankle yesterday?

It was the same thing last season. Same players, same results. We all hoped Cristobal could get something more out of these guys, but they just don't have it.
 
Isn't it actually the third string center playing now or was that during the UNC game?

Just eyeballin' it, but it seems like the O-Line's first step is horizontal, instead of vertical when we run zone. I think horizontal steps give you too much of a soft play-side shoulder, which leads to TFLs. Now I don't know how we compare to the rest of CFB, but we've given up 40 TFLs through 6 games this year.

In HS he played Tackle. Was he pushing to be a starter at Oregon as a Center or Guard? Serious question. Maybe it’s just me but I don’t ever recall seeing a dominant center in pros or college who was Left Handed. Maybe it doesn’t have any effect but seems odd to me. If he can’t play Guard maybe it’s best to move him to the bullpen for middle relief.
 
These guys are and always have been horrible.

Feel like I have been on island shooting down every claim this OL was going to be anything other top 15 in the ACC.

Question is why haven't you guys seen whats in front of your eyes????

Wait... I know... its the coaches... yeah... the coaches... every single one that comes in just cant seem to get these dudes to their star potential.. fire them all.. WTFever.
