Ny Carr to the portal

Wonder where the coaches thought his deficiencies were? Size, route running, blocking, getting separation, hands ???

Speed and agility always were touted as plusses.
I would guess blocking played a role.

One thing about Mali, Marion and CJ they really blocked. Same with Moore. Seemed like a priority for this staff

ya.. I think this is another jaylon knighton situation. I think he lands somewhere and proves a lot of people wrong
Don’t disrespect Jaylan Knighton. He had his flaws, but he produced here. Ny Carr ain’t done shii here.

If a player transferred and produced at other schools, they contributed here first. The only guy I can think of that didn’t produce here first is Romello Brinson.

It's a competitive situation. He might very well end up a great player, but he currently isn't one. At the same time, he may desire more playing time, and we may not be able to accommodate that demand without pushing out a more deserving player. Hopefully, this is the situation we have always wanted- let the players complete, let the best ones stay, and keep stacking talent via Portal and high school.

Maybe im wrong but why go through all the trouble and time to recruit this kid and then never give him an opportunity to play. Maybe he wasn't doing enough to crack the rotation but he looked good in the limited snaps at pitt
Every single receiver on the roster except Chance Robinson, played and got targets. It’s very clear that he is just not good enough, the younger guys have passed him and don’t seem to be looking back.

We should be happy this is happening, this is how it was when Miami was great. Make plays or get buried on the depth chart, in the words of Baby Jesus “Game ain’t based on sympathy”
