We put up these numbers against teams with a combined record of 25-20. I don’t think it’s about it get much better.

It’s time to question if this is an improvement not just from last season, but from previous regimes as well…especially considering the financial playing field isn’t quite level.

Multiple things have to change. Fast. We’re failing to average 20 in regulation…that’s unacceptable at any program with a modicum of pride.

This is gonna be a long stretch for Mario. Year two and he's gonna be hearing some noise... Only so much slick talking is gonna get you out of. He makes big time money, and it aint to produce this chit.

Conference Records since Shannon:

Shannon: 2-6, 4-4, 5-3, 5-3 (fired): Overall: 16-14

Golden: 3-5, 5-3, 5-3, 3-5, 1-2 (fired): Overall: 17-18

Richt: 5-3, 7-2, 4-4 (resigned): Overall: 16-9

Manny: 4-4, 7-2, 5-3 (fired): Overall: 16-9

Cristobal: 3-5, 2-3: Overall: 5-8. Very good chance this is at best, 6-10 after two seasons…

If he loses out, not only will he be 5-11 in ACC play, but it’ll be the worst single-season conference record since Shannon 17 years ago.

Failure to win two of our remaining three games, and It will be the worst conference record through two seasons for a Miami Head Coach ever (yes, I know we were independent for a while). So here’s a different one: should he fail to win one more game this season, it’ll be the worst start for a Miami head coach since Lou Saban in the mid 70’s…

You are being dishonest by excluding ACC Field Goal Percentage leaders.

Say he's averaging 7-6 win seasons after 5 years here. Does he do as a solid like richt did and resign so we don't have to pay out his buyout? I'm thinking by that point he and rad may have improved our facilities and talent and maybe someone who's an actual x's and o's coach can milk that to success.

Eye popping statistics. 80 ******* mil! Thanks for sharing this. Really puts a lot into perspective. Sadly, we will see way more of these statistical breakdowns, and be further humbled.

All time QB mental breakdown + another subpar no creativity OC + Mario influenced bro ball = bottom tier ACC offense yet again despite top 3 talent in conference.

Yet again, Miami hires a HC whose incredibly stubborn and doubles down on their faults. Like Al tied to D'No and 2 gap defense, Mario is tied to physical bro ball and is allergic to high octane spread.

Unreal how after 20 years, Miami cant field a competent offense, defense, and special teams all at the same time.

What’s sad as well is the ol is very good yet the offense sucks. That’s unheard of. Usually if your offense stinks it’s related to a bad ol.

So basically the play calling and qb play are killing the team. Also maybe all the inside runs too. Do we ever try and run off tackle??

A great QB changes all that.
