Defense won the Duke game, you have to give them that. But to be fair, Duke is 5-1 against the 134th ranked schedule in the country. You read that correctly -- 134.

In our 3 losses this year the defense's averages:
33 points per game (96th nationally)
387 total yards per game (62nd nationally)
265 rush yards per game (118th nationally)
122 pass yards per game (2nd nationally)
59% 3rd down % (125th nationally, dead last)
The stats reflect what we all saw in our losses. A head coach terrified of allowing a big play, and instead hoping that the opposing offense would make a mistake instead of forcing one. We were defending any deep play so much that it compromised our numbers in the box, and our choice not to send blitzes or attack the gaps and get into the backfield paved the way for teams to run up and down the field on us.
This created easy 3rd and shorts. The coaching blunders so far this season have been humiliating. Miami went from a renegade program to one that is passive and scared from top to bottom.
