Watch from the 4:42 - 6:02 mark.

That might be the best defensive series Miami has had since the early 2000's. Just dominated upfront with 2 consecutive tackles for lose then finish it off with a pick 6 WOW!

We just might be back boys!

We on the way. This was a 1-2 UNC. I’d like to see how the team plays an angry bee-like team in a few of the remaining schedule. BC is one, VT is always up for us, and Duke.

If they bring that kind of speed and aggression every game, there is not a team remaining on the schedule that this defense can't dominate.

I loved Perry's strike to Harley around the 8:35 mark. Showed he learned from his mistake last week. This time rolling left he squared his shoulders before he threw it, last time he just flung it and underthrew for an interception. RS Freshman QB is going to make mistakes, but he's showing that he learns from those mistakes.

We had a very solid defensive game against LSU as well

Sans 2 big plays (50 yard run and long pass play in the 2nd)

We're getting there. With n'kosi and an offense that'll keep the chains moving we will have a better chance against Clemson this year

Giving up 215yds on the ground at over 5ypc isn't what I think about when I say "Miami Defense".

To each his own I guess.

They ran 75 plays for 329 yards. Our offense only had to run 46 plays and still had more yards. The 3RB system will always get yards. It’s like GT and at times you have to be really disciplined to know who actually has the ball. This would have caused trouble for any fast Miami defense.

But at the end, they only scored one TD and that was because of a trash penalty

My thoughts exactly...was coming to post this
Agreed but the fact that we made actual adjustments and shut it down at half was amazing

Also if it weren't for willis, UNC wouldn't have even scored a TD.
So who cares about the yardage

We gave up 24 first downs and lost TOP by like 7 mins. VS UNC.

Not exactly confidence inspiring for when we actually play teams with real QB's and real corches.

We were never going to win TOP with 3 defensive touchdowns

What were 1st half vs 2nd half defensive stats?

Like mentioned above, no way we are winning TOP if our Offense doesn't get on the field because we just scored again on defense. I wasn't worried about ToP. I'm disappointed that Toledo's QB ran so much on us, and 2 weeks later against UNC, we are seeing another QB do it again.

We had a rough first quarter and half but we held them scoreless the last 3 quarters. I'm just glad we finally put a team away like we should.

We've only played one well corched team this year. I guess we wait a few more weeks till we play another one and see what we are really made of.

Let's win this next home game in front of a frenzied crowd. Then we have to see this team come out and punch people in the mouth on the road. We haven't really seen that happen yet in the Richt era. That is the next step in the maturation process of building a championship contender. If we're undefeated heading into Blacksburg and then we spank the **** outta them in their house, that's when I'll need to go visit the Dr. to see about my priapism.

UNC has the ball, runs some plays. UNC gives up a turnover for a touchdown. Miami kicks off to UNC. UNC has the ball again.

Now explain to us, genius, why we would be worried about time of possession?
