Why is this class so ******* atrocious? There's a handful of Miami quality kids that've given us their verbal, AT BEST. The rest should be committed to Miami of Ohio. I had to check and make sure I wasn't looking at Jacksonville's roster-- so many Jags.

Don't give me that 2016 ****, either, these local kids pounce on their first offer which is usually the local school, then they take visits, experience new ****, get different offers and they're out. We've lost more early commits than I can count, so that doesn't mean ****.

For 2015 it appears Golden is poised to beat Shannon's **** of a class he had going on in his final year. What a mess. One of the main recruiting gurus down here told me this is our worst class in some time and there ain't much help coming. I heard some interesting rumors about local relationships.

75% of our 20 commits right now are from outside Dade/Broward county.. Way to lock down your backyard!!

So what's the problem?

Its a disaster and we wont win **** with a bad class followed by a good 1. U need elite classes yearly, its very depressing 4 the fans that actually kno recruiting. The ****** fans that watch a commits film think there elite when they arent.

Not so coincidentally, the recruiting buzz that was generated over the summer completely died once the season started. Those three double-digit road losses in the first half of the season showed recruits that any optimism from the staff about the program turning the corner was nothing more than lip service.

And for all the talk from some fans about how this staff works tirelessly on the recruiting trail, we're been hearing plenty of evidence to the contrary lately.

- Staff hasn't gone to see Tim Irvin at any of his games this year.
- Staff has failed to contact Joseph Wicker in quite some time, which has him questioning our level of interest.
- Local DBs like Hoggins and Fenton are having monster senior seasons, which are going completely unnoticed by these clowns.
- Multiple commits have been vocally frustrated about not being contacted by these coaches. Both Cronkrite and Brown decommitted because of this.
- There has been virtually no news about official visits, new targets, or anything to inspire any sort of recruiting optimism for a couple months now.
- A miniscule percentage of this class consists of studs from our backyard, which is unacceptable.

It seems like this staff is mailing it in on recruiting, which is one of many reasons why the fan base turned so hard on Shannon. Yet many continue to make excuses for Golden and co. The cloud is long gone, but recruiting is worse than ever. So much for that excuse.

Ur right
Those 3 games showed recruits there bullshytterz.

Randy 2010 2.0

I hope all this non recruiting is a sign they been warned win or u gone. There acting like there fired already, this is a sign no ones looking at.

What makes this all the more alarming is that Brad Kaaya has been fantastic this season, and he's a legitimate reason for positivity looking ahead to the next few years.

We have a stud true freshman quarterback who's playing extremely well, yet there's zero recruiting buzz at the midway point of the season. That doesn't add up. That's not supposed to happen unless the message being sent by the coaches is falling on deaf ears because it comes off as nothing more than lip service and false promises.

Pretty sure if he wanted to talk **** about losses he could point out that every decent team we play mercs us. IJS.

And this class blows. There's a handful of guys I love and everyone else should be one of the last 2 or 3 guys in to a decent Miami class.

The top of the class is nice but after that, there are definitely some questionable takes. Plus there is no buzz. Very odd.

Scarlett
Williams
Walton
Johnson
Milo
St Louis
Lawson
Perry
Patchan
McIntosh

I like all of these guys. Where are the CBs? LBs? Impact WRs? DTs?

LMAO! What are you guys talking about? Randy 2010 2.0?

Randy had Dorsett, Chick, Al Louis-Jean and NICK MENOCAL in DECEMBER! Three solid prospects and one joke with two months left until signing day.

In October of 2014 we have:

At least 2 ELITE running backs, 3 if Walton reclassifies. Add that to Joseph Yearby last year and we have 4 horses at RB.

At WR we have a freak athlete in Terrell Chatman and a chance at another stud in Calloway.

We're bringing in solid depth at QB with Dwayne Lawson.

Not a fan of Loftus, but we're bringing in numbers and talent on the OL (much needed after getting shafted last second by Gibbons last year) and we still have a shot at Jalen Merrick, an outstanding prospect.

On the DL nobody would argue that we're bringing in 2 quality guys at DE in Patchan & McIntosh to go with last year's haul, some depth at NT with Fines and we still have a shot at Shelton Johnson & Kendrick Norton among others.

At LB we have two more quality guys in Perry & Gordiner.

At DB we have, in my mind, the best safety to come out of Dade since probably Kenny Phillips in Jaquan Johnson.

Nobody is going to argue that if signing day was tomorrow that this class wouldn't have holes. I'd like to see more at DL, LB, TE and imo we need a full DB class which means another safety and a couple corners. But to act like this class is anywhere near the class that Shannon left Golden is just going to make people question whether you followed recruiting in 2010. Those were dark days.

We knew this class was going to be small, but we have a lot of great players so far and we're in the game for a lot more UNCOMMITTED prospects that could really help us out.

I think we have some studs in this class. You all expect a class of 20-25 5 stars. Not realistic. I think this is a strong class and if we close strong at a couple positions of need, it can be an excellent class.

I believe a lot of the home town talent does want to stay home and play at the U (rep the city) but at the same time they see we have suck *** coRches.. have to look at it from a recruits point of view which im not but i can only imagine that they want more than to rep their city, things Miami doesnt offer that other schools do and number one would be a staff that can prepare me for the next level. "loyalty" to my city is the least of my concerns and as much as it sucks as a fan, i cant blame the kids that decide to go elsewhere if they believe its whats best for them. Point is we suck and no matter how hard you recruit a kid you cant change the fact that we suck

On another note, this is why i dont talk **** about the players that do decide to come to miami on the game day threads.. its stupid and immature for one and its not their fault theyre being coRched and not coached..

im high so if none of that made sense, well.. idgaf

Butch lost plenty of kids, and wasnt going to take Roscoe Parrish either.

We lose 2-3 OL, maybe a RB, a TE, 2 QB, 1 WR.

2 DL, 2 LB, 1 DB.

We took a crapload of defensive players last year.

We currently have 3 DL, 2 Lb, 1 DB committed.

We need to grab another DL, 2 Lb, 2 more DB's.

We have an elite RB class, very good OL class, 2 Blue chip DL, 2 good LB, and a stud DB.
Let's wait until we have officials.

If we were undefeated at this time yearly and we talked about success would that get old?

What do u expect?

There's no defense no buzz it's like they stopped recruiting, these dudes r jobs r on the line IMO. They have been given a chance but I think Dorito is done and AG has been given a how we look the rest of the way bullshyt. It's his defense and Croots don't want to be a part of it.
