The players will choose what they want and I am fine with that. If they feel good, they might play a little more confidently. Sounds silly, but it is the truth. Anyone who has played sports knows if you feel you look good, you feel confident to play good.

That being said, my choice would be White, Orange, White.

I can't believe this is still an argument. Bama, LSU, Ole Miss, Auburn, Oklahoma, Penn State, Texas, and countless other programs do just fine on the recruiting trail with "traditional" uniforms. We have one of the premier brands in college football. Stop ******* it up with these cartoonish costumes that drag us down to the level of the Oregon wannabes.

yeah that black out garbage is so dumb to me,every team wants to wear black for no reason when its not even part of their school colors. and please dont say that ugly sprite can helmet is helping with recruits
 
i'm 30 if that makes me old so be it i just prefer respectable unis and a helmet rather than clown suits
 
Oh sure. Why be alone when we can be a clone? I have to laugh at the current desperation to blacken everything, from car color to jerseys.

My high school doesn't have black in the color scheme yet the kids who attend the games now wear a blend of purple and black. Anything else apparently doesn't put you with the in crowd. My cousin is an administrator at the school and thankfully has rejected a push to include black with the official color scheme. He told me this will pass, just like everything else. I tend to agree, although the younger generation has lousy taste, IMO.

One reason I enjoy SEC games is that the vast majority of those schools have rejected the simpleton move to black jerseys. You can tune in SEC games and actually recognize the team that is playing. Only the newcomer programs tend to stray.

Last week while driving back from Williamsburg I stopped at Stone Mountain outside Atlanta and really enjoyed listening to a Georgia Bulldog radio show in which the sports talk host mocked the black jersey trend during a lengthy segment.

we suck these type of white outs etc...FSU will have 35K fans there all over the place so this **** does not work at Miami

Whether official or not, I'm going be blacked out 11/15 and it has nothing to do with the color of my clothes.
 
Oh, we dress to impress recruits?

Well why don't we don heavy gold chains, shave our heads and wear purple hats?

I sure don't miss impressing some recruit.
