The problem is our defense. We can maintain ball possession but need a TD every time we have the ball.I mean if Navy can play bully ball against them, I'm pretty sure our backs can take it to them and win the game. Mali, Barkate, Spafford and the rest are just icing on the cake. Spot the ball.
I get it, but in terms of reporting , do you trust him here? To your point crazy he broke his news by responding to Pete’s tweet, he should have done his own tweet. Definitely stealing the spotlight for no reason. But curious how you view his reporting here.
This is a fundamental misunderstanding of how journalism works, it’s his job to report this. And of course he’s not at the practice so he’s reporting what he heard from a sources that’s like literally how this works. No, I don't "trust him here". He wasn't even there. He is citing ANOTHER PERSON who was at the practice, and a "friend of a coach".
It's just very sad to see the decline in standards of sports reporting. We have no proof of how Barry Jacksoff got his information (he calls it "my tip", which seems to suggest AGAIN that he was not actually present, and was given information by someone else) and we have no proof of how long poor poor Barry Jacksoff sat on his tip before he was scooped.
But, hey, he talked to someone who was "at practice" and a "friend of a coach". Is this reporting? Do I "trust him here"?
No. No, I do not. I'm not going to give Barry Jacksoff extra credibility because of who employs him.
I'm not going into details here, but I had the information before Barry Jacksoff's mean tweets. Did I rush over to CIS to post rumors, just to bolster my "insider cred"? No. Did I insert myself into the story like Barry Jacksoff did? No. His tweet was a defensive move meant to claim knowledge of the situation "before the national guys reported it", because he felt that he should have been "first".
So if you're not first, the next best thing is to be the most accurate, the person who provides the most information. Instead, he reported on what a guy at the practice told him, and what the friend of a coach told him. Who, I'm quite certain, were the two phone calls that Barry Jacksoff made after he read the Pete Thamel tweet.
I don't either.. But Indiana shouldn't be 4 and WF shouldn't be 16.i dont have an issue ND being at 11 (more so have an issue with Bama being 5). they havent looked great all year in their wins.
He’s not wrong about the Wednesday practices. Mario has said it himself. This the guy yall listening to? He was banned on ITU for posting nonsense and then crashing out when people called him out for making up **** lol
Leprechaun Sphincter was the club in Palm Beach where I lost my virginity. Often wonder what that dude is up to these days.I think @DMoney nailed his analysis in his breakdown. Galvanizing moment, boys can be looser. Let’s get these leprechauns tight, tighten up their sphincters. Let’s ride boys, they are soft up the middle
Go awayFair point. My bad.
**** yourself ND ****weedI mean, imagine you were going into this game without Moten, Scott, Toure, Bryce Fitzgerald, and OJ. Also Lucas and JJ banged up. And Barkate hobbled.
Then imagine you were doing that going against the Miami O. How would you feel? Thats the equivalent of what ND is looking at.
See 2nd half of wake forest game when Toney was a decoy. Didnt really even attempt to throw ball except for screen passes which is concerning if that is what they do for the whole game if he dont play.Worst case scenario... IF Mali doesn't play on Saturday, what do you expect to see from the offense?
I think we will obviously lean heavy on the ground game with a nice rotation of our running backs.
But who steps up at WR? Who lines up where Toney would be lining up? Wingo returning kicks / punts?
Do we throw many deep balls or do we see more short passes?
